The two biggest reasons why he's never been a 10 TRBpg player is because his minutes were limited with Lamar on the roster and because Gasol and Odom were both terrific rebounders. You really don't know what you're talking about.

umm, no. I'm not ignoring what he did last season, I'm just not gonna call him a great rebounder because one good season doesn't wipe out 4 awful ones. The other thing that holds him back on being a 10 rpg guy is that he didn't have the conditioning to play 33-38 minutes a game, the other guys are better and he loses focus on the glass for long stretches of the season. I live in the LA area, I know how many times people use "engaged Bynum" and "focused Bynum" to explain how he's finally gonna bust out. That's the problem, you don't get "engaged and focused" Andrew Bynum for longer than 2 months in a season. I don't know how someone could argue that Bynum is a great rebounder when he gets double digit rebounding games in only 28% of his games and has never qualified for a double digit rebounding season
Gasol isn't a terrific rebounder either.

Umm, yes, you actually were ignoring what he did last season in a pathetic attempt to prop up your poor argument. Again you're cherry picking and blatantly exaggerating things by listing "four awful ones" in referring to the years in which you claim he was a "poor rebounder". He barely played in his rookie season, only averaged 21 Mpg in his sophomore season and snatched up around 8 TRBpg in '09 and '10 when Gasol was averaging 10-11 TRBpg with Odom averaging 8-9 himself. Simply put, you don't know what you're talking about.

As for Gasol being poor on the glass, he's seems to have fallen off a bit in that area this season and last year leaving hustle players like Barnes and McBob to crash the boards, but during his first two and a half seasons here he was a hoover around the rim.

Bynum has always played well, he's just injury prone. That's his only problem. Oh and he doesn't get enough touches

not surprised

they are dead serious. he has a great claim to that title when healthy, and he looks pretty healthy right now. i still think Bogut is probably the #2 center, but hes not exactly an iron man, and if Bynum can keep up his production for a full season of health, i think he'll have shown everybody just how good he is.

devmil wrote:Bynum isn't talented at all. He's just bigger than the players he's faced against. It's just laughable that some people here think Bynum is better than Howard. If Bynum is so good and better than Howard, then every LA fan should just stop all the BS and keep Bynum for themselves. Keep Him and feel good about yourselves. We don't need your feedback on how Bynum is so better than Howard.

you must be a nets fan cuz size is talent. BTW with Bynums size and him easily being taller than 7 feet tall, and his crazy wingspan, size is a talent/skill cuz not everyone has it and dwight is 6"11 and that is reaching. He would have no chance against gaurding bynum one on one becuase of that diffence plus his post game. Why was shaq so good cause he was bigger than everyone so i guess shaq had no talent, wilt as well. BTW how do u score 29pts with no talent LOL i guess kareem who taught him had no talent 2 STFU u hater

That's crazy, I'll repeat what everyone who watched the game will admit to. He was being guarded by MOZGOV and HARRINGTON.

Bynum will come back to earth by the end of the week.

N Dwight is a ture go to option LMAO

Bynum is not a better impact player than Howard - including injuries, its not close. But, Bynum + Gasol is definitely wayyyyy too much for Howard - which is why a trade will be difficult.

Let Howard get single covered all game he'll put 30+ and 17 everynight.

TBH Howards post game is limited as ****

You don't need a great post game when you don't see many centers who can outmuscle Howard.

He needs some moves when he goes against teams like the lakers. Howard is overrated imo. Like mentioned above. His moves are very limited. If bynum shot a better ft % they would not even be in the same convo.

:/

nobody knows what kind of minutes and health bynum will have this season. the fact is bynum has rebounded like a double digit player the past few years, you said otherwise, and thats the point we were disputing.
