Knicks @ Kings

Post#1 » by pillwenney » Sat Dec 31, 2011 11:09 pm

Game starts at 5 pacific time. I'll be there again.

I think we've got a good shot in this one. I definitely feel better than i did against Chicago. We've seen what Chuck can do against Amare. My main concern defensively is Melo. Salmons simply isn't big enough to handle him, and I'm not sure Outlaw is even really a good defender. Wouldn't mind seeing Donte get a shot there.

Offensively, I'm a little concerned actually. The main thing we're still waiting for is to see things effectively run through Cousins. We'll see how it goes, but I could see Chandler really frustrating him.

Our backcourt should be in good shape though. Tyreke should be able to really take advantage of Douglas' weak ballhandling.

So I'll be disappointed with anything less than a win tonight.

Don't think Amare is playing according to the Knicks board. Which scares more a bit more. Amare has looked terrible out there. Anyway, this is a guy for our backcourt to dominate. If they will dominate is another question.

Well I'd say that's nothing but a good thing, given the Knicks total lack of depth up front.

We'll see, he played well against Chandler last year. It's about time for him to shake the rust off, tonights a great place to start.

The scary thing is Salmons trying to guard Melo. Melo is just simply too big for Salmons to handle one on one.

2011 has been a wild year for us Kings fans, especially those of us who have ties to Sacramento. Let's end it on a good note and hope for a great 2012!

Yep, bout time for Reke to hit the bench, and well deserved.

Right now is when Paul Westphal can make a statement. He's finally leaving the right guys in there and it just simply looks like Tyreke is butthurt. I've seen guys go out and try and show up their coach and teammates and Reke looked like it in the first few minutes. If I'm Westphal, Reke hits the bench for tonight and I see what the other guys can do. Already saw chemistry from Cousins and Jimmer on that back cut.

I think Tyreke is hurt, not Paul angry with him.

Reke fell down on his hip/tailbone. You can see him grimacing. Calm down.

Nah, right after Evans f'd the offense up again that's when Jimmer came up, and you know who was going to hit the bench.

Blazers fan here, anyway I like the kings so I watch almost every game

Can somebody explain to me why is Travis Outlaw playing over Garcia?

Is Garcia injured or something? If not I can't think about a single reason for this. Garcia is a way better shooter, more consistent , a way better defender and a great leader.

What is wrong here?

Westphal doesn't like him. He's a little erratic but he needs to play IMO.

What's happening here?

I just hope the Knicks' hot shooting is nothing more than luck.
