GT: Kitties at Pack - 1/1/12

Post#1 » by MickeyDavis » Sun Jan 1, 2012 4:13 pm

Line has moved all the way to 6.

VERY windy and blustery. I really wanted to see what Flynn could do but the weather will hamper both teams.

It doesn't matter but I want the win.

If Rodgers sits he sets the passer rating record. He could even play a series and go 0-5 and still set the record. He'll sit.
I'm against picketing but I don't know how to show it.

I'd like to see Rodgers play at least a quarter to stay in tune on a cold and windy day. I fear three full weeks off for the first string.

Now the game has been taken off the board. I don't know if that means there's word Rodgers may play or not.

For anyone criticizing Rodgers for setting the passer record while sitting out, when Manning set the record he played one series of the finale, going 1-2 for 6 yards.

Our inactive list could beat every team in the NFL.

Rodgers sitting is fine..but I see Brees having a 4 TD day and the Packers losing, and then the voters decide to give Co-MVPs

It's okay, we are starting the better QB anyways. ;)

Too bad Cobb is out. It would be funny if Finley gets a big workload after irking MM earlier in the week.

Saine is going to have a nice game, IMO.

I will be furious if Rodgers has to share the MVP with Brees.

McCarthy is also inactive. One lucky fan will be chosen at random to call plays.

This just shows how you can't say Favre was as good as or better than Rodgers relative to the times and his league just because he won 3 straight MVP's. That award is too much about timing and popularity. It doesn't award the player who had the best season. In not one of his MVP seasons did Favre even win the passer rating title. He deserved 1 or 2, but in no way should he have won MVP in 1997.

Rodgers will be MVP and Brees the OPOY guaranteed, both very well deserved

There is no way Rodgers doesn't win the MVP.
