Keys to the game:
- less than 18 TO's just once
- starter production (other than Love)
- keeping Dirk and Jet out of the game

We need this game btw. We can't finish winless in our first 6 games and Dallas seems like the weakest opponent so far other than Milwaukee.

Look at the Mavericks' board's preview of the game tonight:

Why don't we come up with something like that?

As for the game, you must not underestimate the Dallas Mavericks. Therefore, I'll hold off my predictions for now.

Speaking for myself, because I don't have hours to spend making gamethreads.

If someone is good enough on Photoshop and wants to, I have no problem with it.

Key stat: #Twolves lead NBA in 4th qtr. FG percentage defense (32.8%). Wolves were last in the league last year (46.9%)

b/c it's a waste of time. I like GTs that look like they were created at the last second.

From MNTimberwolves on Twitter
"#Twolves probable starters tonight vs. Dallas: G-Ridnour, G-Johnson, F-Beasley, F-Love, C-Milicic"

I am getting tired of Luke's unenergized starts. Wouldn't it be something if we had a guard who could bring energy minute number one, get the crowd excited while also finding open teammates... we could maybe even start a game with a lead...
My two cents, I prefer the quirky/odd game threads. If I want stats and breakdown pre game I can go to espn/nba.com. If I want a ten year old photo of Luke, I come here.

Barea will give it a go tonight unless there's a late development. Pek available to play too

Barea just came off the court a few minutes ago after testing that hammy and said, "I'm good" as he ran by...

Adelman says Ricky starting is something that's "still down the line, we're still evaluating the team."

I might miss the first few minutes, if not the entire first half of the game. Hope the T-Wolves get off to a good start without me.

APkrawczynski Jon Krawczynski
Carlisle on Barea: "He's probably the NBA's most effective 5-10 shooting guard."

More Carlisle on Barea: "he scrambles, he draws charges and he's a pain in the ass. He's going to be fine there."

The Mavs gt is ridiculous. I think there's a guy on the Nuggets board that does really good ones too.
