As far as Meer is concerned, I think he should relax another game. Magic have many mismatches in their favor here. Duhon and Hughes could use the work to get better for later in the season. Even though Hughes played poorly in the last game, I remember how well he played against the Heat last week. I feel he was just off and is just coming back to the NBA. He will be a solid veteran as the season progresses. I like his fluid movement though as it can be deceptive to defenders.

I am also in the camp that thinks Nelson should sit another game just to be sure.....Remember in the finals when Stan brought Nelson back and killed all the chemistry we had?.....Although this is not of the same importance it's kinda the same situation.......other than that...needless to say....WIN

Meer coming back to soon may slow down the offense as he will be more tentative. I am enjoying a few Duke style fast breaks from Duhon and JJ.

Our defensive efficiency rating is 95.3 for the first 4 games, which is 7th overall in the league. Obviously things can change a lot at such an early stage of the season with such a small sample size, but it's an encouraging start (to put it in perspective, CHI led the NBA with a defensive rating of 97.2 last year).
