What about a Bucks package of Gooden, 1st round pick, and Larry Sanders?

We had Gooden before and that was one time too many, but the value isn't bad

Who the hell gave Drew Gooden such a looong contract? lol

I cant imagine being stuck with him through 2015, but his contract is at least moveable and the rest of the package might actually be worth it. Not a bad offer at all.

what about just a fst rnd pick and larry sanders. I'm hoping our gm could just amnesty gooden. At best the bucks get to the 7th seed which should be lower then 20. And to be honest we're a bogut injury/Jackson melt down away from being 10-15 range.

Ya that Gooden contract would be horrible. I think I hated him more than Hickson........

I'm not sure I see the Bucks giving up a 1st round pick if we can't swap out Gooden, or at least we would need some other plan to extricate him and allocate that money on a different position.

Otherwise, I could see us offering a package of Ersan Ilyasova, Larry Sanders, and Jon Brockman.

Send Andy and our 2nd rounder to Philly for Evan Turner. He has no spot to start there and they have a plethora of young forwards, having just signed Thad Young long term.

I don't believe Philly would do that. I have not looked at Turners stats to see how he is doing though

I am not that interested in Turner. It is nice that he can handle the ball and has the potential to play good defense, but we need a scorer to pair with Irving.
Well at least we're not Detroit!

Yeah, Turner seems to need the ball in his hands to be effective-I'd pass just because he would never be able to live up to the expectations playing off of the ball.

Maybe you can get a young SG prospect that a contending team is unhappy with or doesn't want to pay.

How about Wesley Matthews, Marcus Camby (ending contract) and Luke Babbit for Varejao and Jamison?

You're kidding right?
Change Mathews for Elliot Williams (great talent in a bad situation behind Mathews and Crawford) and Jamison for Gibson, Parker or Hollins and we might have a deal. Maybe you can also have the rights to Claver.
If you want to try to measure the elements of basketball that are supposedly unmeasurable, spend a game just watching Marc Gasol.

How about Orlando makes no progress for Dwight with anyone else. Who u trade Andy and Jamison and the Sac pick for Howard and Redick? They get a reasonable center and an expiring and a pick for someone who will not resign. That is only if Howard would sign an extension with us. Thoughts?

If orlando has no one else to dance with. more likely Dwight would never sign here.

don't get me wrong, it would be so epic to have Irving+Howard and win a 'chip before Miami, but Dwight seems obsessed with being marketable just like LBJ was
