They should wait until Shump gets healthy and then let Lin take over Rautins' role until we can sign Martin and then cut Lin's ass.

wait till the PGs get healthy, as everyone else has said, and cut him. In the mean time, continue to play him a little bit, or at least see what he does in practice. If he's doing things in practice, then make sure to bring him in during summer league, so he can join walker russell jr., chris hunter, and the other scrubs who will be joining the rooks in summer league

He looks very uncomfortable, unsure, and appears to lack confidence and most importantly rhythm, this makes him look very awkward on the floor, especially with the ball. I do see a little desire in him by the way he makes most of his attempts to steal the ball back after he losses it but in one he is "Awkward". I saw some players laughing at him which I don't like. He needs a lot of work, I can't believe he's the best we could find under similar circumstances.

Let me see if I got this straight.

When the Knicks lose, the blame goes to Stat, the coach, all rookies, the bench, and any player who plays a less than flawless game.

When the Knicks win, everybody piles on the rookie.

Where would this board be without someone to hate?

Please stop starting threads asking for opinions after a player has been on the court for a few minutes. The need to grade and elevate or ship people out after one glimpse is getting ridiculous. PLEASE STOP.

The likelihood of Lin having any impact on the line-up is small to begin with, so why don't you just accept the probabilities and be pleasantly surprised if he does amount to something.

But this urge to drag any player through the mud after a single game is a joke. JUST STOP.

Lin had no bearing on the game he was in. By contrast, concern over Amare playing the worst he has since he has been here is worthy of conversation considering what he means to this franchise. Let's get a little perspective before starting more of these threads, OK?

Not really.

1. After the LA game - Jorts, scrub. Jordan, scrub. Chandler, overpaid. Stat, done. Douglas, useless. D'Antoni, worthless. Should have played Lin.

2. After the SAC game - Jorts, great. Jordan, promising. Chandler, serviceable. Stat, trade bait. Douglas, okay (for now). D'Antoni, worthless. WTF did they play Lin?

If NYK loses the Toronto game - goto 1.

This board is freakin' psychotic.

Didn't you know? Even though he only had maybe 1-2 practices, he was supposed to come in and drop 8/4 in his 3 mins, while looking like CP3 lite

As for the idea of sending him to d-league, I think it's a good one. I don't know who the coaches are, but if they can get him turned around and really develop his pg skills, then we might have something, and like the OP said, he'd at least be insurance.
