Game 4: Cavs vs. Nets | Sun, Jan 1st | 6:00 PM ET

Post#1 » by Rise Against » Sun Jan 1, 2012 8:39 am

Happy New Years everyone.

Have a good one. Stay safe. Dont drink and drive. But if you do, do it safely.

Just kidding...

So the Pacers game was a bit entertaining.. It would have been something if Kyrie made that layup but its okay. Our lottery chances got better. For this game, I want to see a competitive game but I dont see us winning. Maybe Kyrie will learn something playing against Deron Williams.. What I really want to see is Irving and TT playing together more.

Discuss your thoughts.

Irving is shooting much better. He is looking like Chris Paul out there.

Seeing Sundiata Gaines play against us reminds me of that game winner he hit on us a couple years ago..

It seems like Scott plays a group for a certain amount of time then switches to another group.

A bunch of turnovers from both teams.. At least Irving and TT played together for a couple minutes.

TT looking great out there. A nice spin move for the layup and a block on the other end.

I'm unable to watch but what is up with Samardo getting offensive foul call after offensive foul call against him?

The Cavs offense is looking great out there.. Lots of great ball movement and passing. Complete opposite of what we saw last season.

stupid cavs..............the last thing they should be doing now is trying to win games, they need another lottery pick.

Man the Nets are awful. Lots of turnovers and lazy passes. No effort on the boards or on defense.

I think Thompson and Irving need to play a little more minutes to evolve more. But until now they've been good, and they can be the duo to lead Cleveland in the future. Future looking bright.

Btw, what about Daniel Gibson. That guy can shoot. 5-7, great game. Piece Cavs fans

Hey, they have got to win a few games this season, and those wins are going to come against disjointed teams like the Pistons and Nets. The Nets (besides D Williams) dont seem to play together or to fit well together. Losing Lopez has turned that team into a contender for worst record in the league. They better find a way to get Dwight or Deron will be gone too.

Tristan Thompson is a great player. I am very happy we drafted him.

Went to the Q last night for the game. Very pleaed with the attendance and the energy, my first post-Lebron game there. Section 133 was rocking!

Came away more impressed with Gee than I expected. This guy has some legit skill.

Thompson looked great and I really like the way Scott is judiciously using him, not overexposing him. Let him build confidence and get his feet under him. Mike Brown would never have done that.

Varejao was great too. I miss watching his energy and active hands on defense. He disrupts more passes and sets than any big man in the league away from the basket.
