If JJ keeps this up and J-Rich continues to look like an old man playing pickup at the YMCA, does JJ eventually take the starting job? Or does SVG keep him as a super sub?

Deron Williams is playing like a warmed up turd so far this season. I wouldn't be in a major rush to play with him if I were Dwight.

Redick flat out, outplaying him at this point.

i'd give him a few games. Players are still getting into shape, and it isnt like his effort wasnt there, just his shot. He tied Anderson for 2nd on the team in rebounds, had an assist, a steal and 2 blocks.

When Deron did look good in Utah, they had a helluva team and a Hall of Fame coach reknown for double digit assists from his PG's, even Arroyo looked good there.

I dont think JJ cares whether he starts or not, he is on the court when the game finishes and that is what counts.

Nelson finished quite nicely but overall still didn't play up to the standard at least that i hold him to.....Very sub-par defensive outing...Passing was below average...Missed some passes that PG's shouldn't miss....Got blocked by Calderon.....With all that said i think J-Rich was worse than Nelson....

I might be out of line but at this point Switch Redick and Richardson...Redick is just the better player at this point...worthy of starting and i know it's a small sample but from what i seen Redick is at least as good or better in every category than J-Rich maybe except Athleticism...Maybe not seeing J-Rich get hung like that.....

Man! What a big win! When shots are falling in is easy to win games, but when you start slow, 3pts going out and you make a comeback like this, really means that your team will truly challenge.
Our core of white guys is really kicking ass right now. Turk, Ryan and JJ have been amazing tonight!
What a big win, I can't be happier!!

It's been a long time since I don't enjoy a victory like tonight's.

Heck. If Deron continutes to play poorly, maybe the Magic can figure a way to sign him next off season for $10-12 mil.

I wouldn't call Deron a superstar just yet. Borderline, maybe. All NBA 2nd team and definite all-star. A huge improvement over Meer, fo sho.

He's a star, and with more help he'd be the Superstar player he was with Utah.

Orlando is a pretty good team, and SVG is a pretty good coach* as well.

So you're telling me he wouldn't look like what he did in Utah like he would here?

JRich has had two bad games this year. I guess we can expect him to give us maybe 6 good games in a 10 games stretch. Hopefully the consistent good play of Redick and Anderson continues. We also need Nelson to step up when JRich is looking horrible.

Yeah, then he ran Sloan's tail outta Utah... No doubt he's one of the top flight PGs in the league, but I fail to see the allure of leaving your team that is on an upward trajectory to team with him. He's impressive, but not great.

Don't get me wrong, Deron would look great in a Magic uniform. At least he can be a pass first PG, just what the Magic needs. Heck, between him and Hedo, this team would be dangerous with that ball movement.

Ryan for sweater vest... dude deserves it... consistent 20ppg at the moment... always outshine by Howard's statline and production... but he deserves it imo
