I have to agree with you there. Pistons are seriously missing a quality starting Power Forward to play alongside Monroe. Then, that team would get a tough presence.

Let's not forget that he is only 21, I'm sure he'll be a different person in 3-4 years. Lord knows I'm not the same as I was 3-4 years ago....

Also, DJ, I have to say bro that some of those don't look too bad to me.

That altercation with Rondo started because he was talking trash to KG, and Rondo didn't like it. I'm willing to bet KG said something to him first to cause that.

The thing with Tyson Chandler was too much, don't know why he got a tech for that.

I like the kid, and I think he and Dwight would make a killer front court. Too bad we can't get him (or maybe we can, who knows).

And let's be real for a second... We aren't getting Cousins AND keeping Dwight Howard... any trade will probably require Howard to be dealt imo... which is why I don't want Cousins and his attitude as a future cornerstone

NOW If we got Cousins AND kept Howard, then that's a completely different story... I'm all for it.

That's true, trading for him could be a huge mistake if we give up too much.

But his upside is just too appealing for me to ignore (pause?).

How would you guys feel if we ended up doing a Hedo/Dwight for Evans/Cousins deal (with fillers, of course). SEVERELY doubt it happens, but just curious.

,that was a very desperate tweet by Denton,these type of things happen all the time with players and coaches.Denton wants Dwight to stay so bad he's trying to make something out of nothing.

Winning cures all, I swear... if we keep playing hard and win games we should win, and show up for the big games... we can definitely make it back to the Finals... we have the depth to do this again... we just have to stay healthy and stay focused

Don't get to excited,were 4-1 we beat Nets,Rockets,Cats,Raptors,we lost to (OKC elite team),until we beat the elite teams,that's when we can start comparing us to our finals team in 09.

I hear what you're saying, but at the end of the day we lost by only 8pts to OKC, and it was the season opener... don't discount the formation of chemistry and gaining of confidence from these wins... if we beat the Bulls on the 6th, it will definitely open people's eyes... I'm not overly optimistic, but I want to find the positives in these wins, and I'm noticing a lot of good ball movement, passing, and uptempo play now that's been sorely lacking from last year... also that scrappy Bobcats team took Miami (first meeting) to the limit, who we beat on our back-to-back (they had rest), and that Rockets squad beat San Antonio and Atlanta pretty decisively... Kevin Martin had a bad game that opening night against us.

But you are right, we have to test ourselves against teams like Miami, Chicago, Boston, etc... before we jump the gun... but there is nothing wrong in pointing out the positives and giving our team the benefit of the doubt as well... we have the depth to make a big run in the playoffs, we just can't lose focus in what we're doing well at (pushing the tempo, getting in transition, making good passes, playing tough defense)... Magic are playing hard, and certain players are stepping up their game (Ryan, Redick, etc..)

Remember, I said

...if we keep playing hard and win games we should win, and show up for the big games

That means beating teams like the Bobcats, Rockets, Nets, etc... as well as those big games against the Bulls, Celtics, etc...

Apparently ZBo is injured for the Grizz and won't be back for some time... they already lost Darrell Arthur, what if the Grizz like what they see in Ryan? maybe we could get Gay from them in some sort of package?

Maybe we could offer them Jameer/Ryan/Redick for Gay/filler

We would have to find another pg,but Gay would be enough for Dwight to commit long term.
