First off, I still wish that the Magoofs had just sold as their broke cheap asses are still crippling this franchise.

I'm not going to go and defend DMC and his mouth. However, you just don't go and dump your franchise caliber Center. Coaches are everywhere. We have a capable head coach on the bench already in Keith Smart who did more last year with less talent on the roster in GS.

It has become painfully obvious that despite beating the Lakers on opening night in an emotionally charged atmosphere against a tired team and also a depleted and injured one. Even in that game you could see the constant selfish play and guard probing. Running a 4 up offense without Charles Barkley as your down focal and a bunch of lights out shooters obvious is a failure strategy. Westphal has NEVER been an even marginal defensive coach because he wasn't a defensive player. And instead of having a capable assistant like a Thibodeau to coach the defense, he just ignores it and tries to get by on guy's talent alone.

However, when a player continually, aggressively, lets it be known that he is unwilling/unable to embrace traveling in the same direction as his team, it cannot be ignored indefinitely.

Ofcourse he doesn't!

The teams direction for the last 2 and a half years has been straight to the bottom!!

If hes traded I hope its not to the heat and you get value back. A pick is rhe way to go imo if its this year and a lotto pick but teams are gonna be so skeptical now.

Nets would probably damion james and up and coming sf and brooks. This is a blessing imo because cousins will be like derrick coleman eddie curry and when they gett that first big contract will just give up. If it wasnt for his personality he wouldnt of slipped to 5 but auto 1st pick. Was a big risk big reward pick that failed. Salvage and move on. Knick fan here , what do you think of fields and some stuff for cousins out of curiousity.

Would you guys trade an extended Cousins for a package from Atlanta centered around Josh Smith?

When you increase jersey sales by 500% with one player, what do you expect?

A lot of us Nets fans thought it would cost Brook Lopez to get Cousins, which we wouldn't do. But what do you guys think it would take?

We have a ton of assets, and I'm sure Billy King will get the Magic involved for Orlando to get Cousins/Lopez.

No way the Pistons trade Monroe for Cousins. Similar production, zero character concerns.

Return to Sacramento Kings
