I liked seeing New York beat Boston. Garnett proved what a little Girly man he really is, (his punk shot after the buzzer had gone.)

And as much as I dislike the Heat, (even with Battier there) it's sood to see the Mavs getting done. Their Championship is a one and done deal. The Mavs suck again, (not just as a franchise as a whole, on the court as well!!)

It looks like Cuban made a huge mistake by letting Chandler go.

and the Oscar goes to Lebron. There has to be something the league can do about player flopping.

Winning the last game >>> losing the first game..

Didn't the Mavs start last season like 1-5 or something? Now I'm not saying they'll repeat, but cant say they suck off of one game, where the Heat had something to prove.

ya u guys need to slow down a bit. the first game of the season is NEVER a good indication of how good a team will by the end of the season.

i am skeptical of haywood. i didnt think cuban would be comfortable with him as their starting center, but i guess he's pissed that he paid him so much and haywood's done so little lol. he's gonna get his money's worth one way or another. force him to play 35mpg haha

he only offer him one year contract
Chandler wanted multi year
Mavs still have cap room next year to go after Dwight

anyway it's just one game
doesn't mean much yet

poor Deng
Rose made the winning basket and all credit go to him
Deng made those steals and free throws too

If it wasn't for Anderson, the Magic would have sucked last year.

wow what a productive mother **** jermaine o'neal is. in the 1st half vs the heat he got 0pts/0rbs/0blks/0asts with 2tos/1foul all in 10 minutes . i've only been watching the nba closely since mid 2000s, but i've never seen anything like that before

Watching the T-Wolves game for the first time this season and goodness gracious Kevin Love looks like different person. He shed a ton of weight, but he's still balling.

Derrick Williams and Rubio were balling as well. If they can get a big man who can defend in the paint and make up for love's COMPLETE LACK OF DEFENSE they might be a playoff contender with adelman as their coach in a couple of years.....

watching Memphis game...
Damn Rudy Gay looks good. :(

anyway we should have a past Rockets player thread to track Landry, Hayes any other fav?
McGrady? Mike James? Jeffries?

Landry balling so hard in NOH wish we had him.

Hayes was good in SAC next to Cousins but you could tell both of them were irritated with he offense the guards would run up the court and just shot while Hayes and Cousins had their men backed up all the way under the basket.

McGrady been battling back spasms.... hmmm

Return to Houston Rockets
