I agree. Glad to hear it's just cut and not broken.

But I was really concerned watching Beasley react on the bench to the situation because the way he was acting it appeared that his finger might have been cut off or something!!! :o I thought he was going to be out for a long time watching his reaction.

Anyway, glad he's not as seriously hurt as he probably thought he was. Hopefully he'll be back to full strength soon! He did a great job on the boards tonight by the way!

Happy for you guys and for Rick (and Ricky).

You can see how a team looks like when it has a real coach at helm. can only cry and regret us not getting Rick back.

You guys are looking fantastic.

Its weird how much better defensively you have been this year-against good competition too. Probably a little due to personnel, but more likely do to coaching IMO.

Part of me does feel a little sympathy for the old coach Rambis. He was promised 3 years, Telfair and Flynn came off the bench, Rubio was in Spain, Williams was in Arizona, and Kevin Love was nursing his injuries in a big shiny tank.

Note that I said a part of me feels sympathy. Adelman is my first choice.

Rambis was a horrible coach, who didn't know what he was doing. No sympathy for him, he got what he deserved.

@JerryZgoda Beasley's lacerated index finger on shooting hand won't keep him out, but might keep him from shooting. "It's probably best" after 3-for-10

If thats the case, this injury will be a godsend for us.

I actually thought Beasley did a good job on the defensive end the last two games.
Especially yesterday against the Mavs. He wasn't great but I've never seen him that active on D and he also passed a lot more than usual on offense. His shot wasn't falling but that will come.

!6 TOVs... Still high, but reasonable, good defense (although awfull off from mavs), good execution in the clutch, really ejoyable ball... ahh feels good to be a wolves fan after those years...

It's about 98% coaching, imo. Words can't express how bad Rambis was at coaching.

Agreed. I don't think you guys should run the offense through him (or anything like that) but if you watch, the guy moves fairly well without the ball under the basket, and is so often wide-open only for Ridnour, Beasley, etc. to not see him or simply not pass him the ball. Then Darko gets frustrated and lazy. Not saying he's not to blame for that, but I really think if he were to play more with a PG like Rubio, he'd be even better considering how he'd probably get a few more early touches and actually feel involved.
