Gonna be difficult.. Got to find a way to stop ginobili.. Curious to see rubio against a superorganized defense..got to beat them on the athleticism.

Ginobili is our biggest threat.

Duncan has looked like he is sleepwalking through the first few games.

Really, the only person i'm worried about is Manu. Our SG defense has been brutal.

Duncan is due for a big game with the sluggish start he had that's why I picked Love/Duncan as key matchup.

Wes hasn't been a bad defender so far this season, IMO. Problem is he just sucks offensively. Turnovers and a lot of misses. Completely lost any confidence on O.
It's not like I'm having nightmares when Wes defends Ginobili.

But we need SG/SF production if we want to win. Both Beasley and Wes haven't produced efficiently or at all this season. We need some more from them.
Hopefully, Darko is at his best, too. He has a ridiculous size advantage over Blair.

Keeping Ginobli in check will be the key. Old Tim Duncan is no match for Love and Darko has had some success guarding him. Darko should get more minutes tonight. We need to control the paint against these guys and contest 15 feet and in well.

We lost 17 straight games to San Antonio. Time to end that streak tonight. It's the coming of a new age and the Spurs are going down.

The biggest threat is Parker, neither Ridnour or Rubio can stay in front of him.

Nobody can stay in front of Parker, defending him is a team effort for every team. I think this will go down to the wire too, hopefully you guys can come out on top again. Go Ricky, go Wolves!

Duncan is finished. Stick a fork in him.

Ricky guarded him perfectly in 2009. Not sure if he could do it again, though.
When I finish a game, they ask me "how did it go? how many points did you score?", when the real question should be "what have you done today to help your team win?". - Ricky Rubio.

Couldn't have said it better myself. Both Texas teams are going down.

If Beasley can't go, I could see Tolliver starting and assigned to guard Manu

As long as we keep Manu is semi check i.e don't let him score more then 25 points I think this will be another win by the Wolf Pack.Theirs know one that can stop Love on the boards or that can defend him.Plus our bench is much deeper.

I'll be at this game, hopefully their selling the new swingman Rubio jersey their.Because I am dying to get one.GO WOLVES

The OP said that should be an easy win, though.

I dunno what to expect about this. Hopefully, we stay aggressive and play with the same kind of intensity that made the Thunder, Heat and Mavs struggle. Then we should be alright.

As silly as this sounds, Ginobli is exactly the kind of player Johnson should be good at defending. I think he's going to shine against the Spurs, even if he doesn't lite up the box score. "Ginobli has an off night" is all I want out of Johnson.

Barf? Tolliver is excellent. I fully expect he soon has the, "Adelman guy," reputation. We're incredibly fortunate to have him coming off the bench.

That said, I bet he keeps coming off the bench so that, depending on his defensive assignments we have the rest of the matchups correct.

If Beasley can't go? When there's trouble you call DW.

I'm not worried with Minnesota's mediocre 3 point shooting. We're better than what the team has shown so far. If they can just limit the turnovers and make their free throws, we could just pull it off.

I like Tolliver. If he's covering Ginobili we're screwed.
