MIN / MIL / MEM

I thought this was worth bringing over from the trade board. It got good responses.

Why? They need a backup for Bogut, this is a young cheap option for them.

Memphis gives: OJ Mayp
Memphis gets: Ersan Ilyasova, Luke Ridnour

Why? They get an extra big and a veteran point guard.

Minnesota gives: Luke Ridnour, Nokola Pekovic
Minnesota gets: OJ Mayo

Why? They take a chance on a young shooting guard.

Like it... Would do this trade in a week or so when JJ gets his hammy back to 100%. Moves Ricky to the starting lineup and finally gets us a scorer at the 2. As for the talk on the T&T board of moving Tolliver... I think that's an incredibly shortsighted mistake. He fills the backup 3/4 role better than Williams at this point and has incredible chemistry with these guys.

Yeah I'd hate to lose Tolliver he's quick, bigger defender that hits the threes and finds ways to make winning plays.

He is one of the last guys on the team I want to trade.

I don't think Adelman let's Tolliver go, he seems to like his defensive intensity and versatility.

Yah, I agree with Saltine on the intensity thing... If you could swap Tolliver with somebody else, in a heart beat if do this

Appears to be fair value. I'm mixed because I really don't want to help a division rival, plus I'm still a homer fan who thinks we can trade for a better player later in the year.

Kind of like Odom

Take that deal in a second..

When Lee comes back..

Darko - AT - Miller
Love - Williams
Beasley - Johnson
Mayo - Lee - Webster
Rubio - JJ

Return to Minnesota Timberwolves
