Anthony Randolph

Post#1 » by dukeknicksirish » Tue Jan 3, 2012 12:09 am

This dude played soo bad last night. He played out of control on offense, cost Minny a basket when he stupidly grabbed the rim, was worthless on defense, fouled at bad times, and had a couple offensive charges.. No wonder he never played at Golden State and NY...

Getting that off my chest, what do you think he does well that helps you guys out on other nights? Do you thunk he is a good/valuable player for your roster? Would you be wiling to part with him?

Easy target for Rubio to find flying toward the rim. He is a decent rebounder and shot blocker. Long enough to be a pesky defender inside, but needs more weight on him

Too bad he is dumb on the basketball court.

He had a sequence of dumb shot, tech and offensive interference that made me cringe.

Kinda disappointed with him so far.

I think he's one of the guys struggling the most to adapt to Rick Adelman's offense (with Beasley and Wes Johnson).
He looked really good against Miami but was garbage the other games. At this point I don't know what to expect out of him. Last season he looked really good in some games but then again he might've just padded his stats considering we tanked terribly at the end of the season.

I'll give him another 10-15 games because I can evaluate him.

LOL dude, so let me get this straight, Anthony Randolph was worthless on defense, yet you want him to play for the knicks again? I'm guessing you never watched much knicks back when he was there? or didnt pay attention?
You should already know about him considering he was on your favorite team. His "worthless" defense should fit right in with the Knicks you are right, good find there, a nice fit for your team. But as I'm checking the stat sheet, it says he had 2 blocks, which was the most on our team. Huh. Well thats defense. Not completely worthless then i guess. Huh. Funny.
And willing to part with him? no. I want him for the same reasons you want your team to trade for him, unless you want to trade us Shumpert or Gallinari. Oh thats right you guys kinda got rid of him for a defenseless ballhog. shucks.

Oh Yeah and we like him because the kid can play. He blocks shots and he can jump over your hunch backed grandpa. On a bad day.

Wes acting like Rambis is still the coach on Defense. Dude is collapsing way to far in on the drive and leaving the 3 wide open

Booo YA!

woops wrong topic.

Well, AR played good for a few games, and even the first half of the mavs game. Then he played like ass in the second half. Thats just AR

People would get banned for posting this garbage on the Knicks board.
Here we just laugh at their stupidity.

He technically didn't ask what we wanted from the Knicks (even if he did...who cares). I'm also more defensive of duke since he's said a lot of nice things about our team despite not actually being a Wolves fan.

^ Yeah I remember duke being very civil in the past. I think he was just trying to figure out what we see in AR.

Anyway Irish did nothing wrong at all. Keep posting in these forums.

Personally I don't feel we're the team that will turn Randolph around, but it doesn't hurt to keep him when we have injuries to Miller, Webster, Barea, Lee, and of course Beasley can apparently see his bone. I've assumed he was one day just going to be included as filler in a trade, but he could be a decent spare part.
