Been saying this forever. When he controls the paint, we win. When he spends all of his energy on offense we lose. Why can't he just be content with scoring 15 points grabbing 20 rebounds and 3 blocks? Oh no he has to get his touches and F...k up the rhythm of the whole team. Also did't Stan say that Earl was going to be his stopper this year. He got minutes last year yet none this. This team but mostly this coach is so frustrating. Poor guys were running on fumes. I bet Stan was a dictator in his prior life.

 btw, i'm not saying fire him or anything, but he needs to adjust every once and a while.

This. he needs to earn them. it's like just cause his name is bigger than JJ's and Wafer's that he should get more time. it doesn't work that way. i think it's time start JJ who should've started at the beginning of the season imo, and bench JRich... and give Wafer SOME time if we're doing fine offensively than don't play him, but if we struggle to get 78 points against a less than mediocre team than he should at least see the floor.

Well, he needs to earn them back. He had them, and in the Houston game, the play before he made the baseline dunk, he chucked a contested 3 pointer off 1 foot I believe. Stan wanted to yank him immediately but waited till the next stoppage in play which happened to come after the nasty dunk by Wafer. Nonetheless, Wafer has not played since.

If you're talking about Wafer... the 3 pointer was a 2 for 1 opportunity... all of the shots he missed were good looks, including the runner... I thought Wafer got canned too early in that game unfortunately.... he looked quick and was constantly in attack mode

yeah, someone asked b/c it's his first game back and SVG called him the one of the best teammates, did so much for this organization, played hard against 4s every night, etc

I thought Wafer was playing great. But Stan was pissed and threw his hands up after the shot. Wafer didn't play since. Stan's got a notoriously short leash on the bench players and he pulled it quick with Von.

Dont get all the nelson hate, he really didnt hurt us, he just didnt try to do enough which you can say about pretty much everyone on this team except dwight.

I seriously doubt that every on on this team is just scared to be agressive, the game plan was clearly force feeding dwight at all cost and excpect him to outscore the pistons.

That game plan played perfectly to the pistons' slow pace, took away our three point shooting, driving and cutting game, and made two great offensive rebounders combine for two offensive rebounds.

On defense we overplayed their shooters and simply dared them to penetrate which resulted(in addition to poor officiating) in a ton of free throws going the pistons way and too many points off of drible penetration.

I'll say this one is on stan.

I agree. the reason he got yanked is because it wasn't a "safe" shot and his name is not Hedo (who Stan has a man-crush on). not saying i want our players to take stupid shots, but they should get a little more freedom, and he could've easily just said "don't do that again, cause if you do you're out". also not saying i don't like Hedo, cause he's been one of our best players so far this year but i'm just saying.

Can someone give me the cliffnotes of what Stan said postgame? By the way i think this game broke the camels back for me when it comes to J-Rich.....i've given up on him...I mean i'm not asking him to be better than Ben Gordon but he should be able to get some point off of him

Yeah we can pretty much blame fatigue on this one.
A lot more sloppy turnovers (didn't look like the turnovers we'd usually make and I think are a product of the 4th game in 5 nights)
Something ain't right with Jameer. Hopefully he regains form.
JJ balling even with the low numbers.
I like the post move Ryan did at the beginning.
Dwight couldn't grab a rebound.
A lot of strange calls.
You can tell we were tired just by looking at the score. 79 points isn't what we'd usually put up against a pretty bad defensive team.

I love how we shot 12 less FTs and made 11 less than the Pistons. how much did we lose by again?
