If Kenyon Martin can be a starter in this league, for mostly for pretty good teams, for a decade, why can't Udoh? Seriously, Udoh's defense is starting-caliber. He just need to round out some rough edges on offense, and those will come with experience.

Not me. I've thought he sucked since his first summer league. And I was hoping we could draft him, so it's not like I hate him for no reason. He just taught me to.

It's not that I don't see the talent. It's that he's a loser. He's always going to be a loser. He just doesn't have it.

It's pretty damning when your peers are talking about your attitude, professionalism and maturity in public. He must be a giant spaz.

I'll agree that the guys mental state is outta sight...but saying he isn't talented is dumb...Sorry Flop.

The guys a really good passer and even though Westphal hates him, they want to tun the offense through him. He's a great rebounder even as a young guy.

He's very slow, and shoots to many bad shots, but that part is mental (the shots).

I can see not wanting the guy, but saying he sucks is way off the mark.

Attitude has a lot to do with success. He has a high ceiling... so what? He's obviously impressed with himself and considers himself a star. As of right now he's a **** center. And judging by his attitude, I find it hard to believe he's ever going to be more than a 2nd rate starter in this league.

I think in right situation with the right medication, he could be an all-star...doubtful that is ever going to happen and it is even more unlikely in Sacramento where he is joined with guys with maturity issues as well.

If the Dubs wanted him the package would be around Curry. Which in turn the Dubs would turn down

Think that is way too much to give up for such a risk and a headache. I would pass if Curry was involved.

Lacob and Co. have committed to get "good attitude" guys, up to and including the coach. Doubtful they'd go for Cousins because of it, but not a chance in hell they'd swap Curry for him if they wouldn't do it for Chris Paul.

Demarcus has now proved to be exactly as difficult as most people guessed he'd be -- a potential franchise-killer, especially if he DOES turn out to be very good. Like Isiah Rider, but less fun, and (as a center) capable of bringing down an entire team.

I said he was talented. Dunleavy was talented too. As was Jamal Crawford.

No ess....can't compare big men to those scrubs...but overall I think we agree that Cousins is a headcase.

I'd just hate to see him go to a team like the Celtics and help lead them to their final championship.

Remember the Pistons with crazy Rodman, d-head Laimbeer, and Diva Isiah. Also the looney tune Pistons with Rasheed.

Questionable characters with talent should be looked into if you ever want to break through.

Here is the disconnect. You also said, multiple times, 'he sucks'. If you are using 'sucks' as a synonym for any sort of flaw, that is going to lead to confusion. I think when most people reading a basketball forum hear, "He sucks", they assume that means, "at basketball". Not "at being a teammate", "at being a human", etc. etc. When you say, "He's a loser", as informal as that is, I know what you mean, and I understand that position. It is "He sucks" that doesn't ring true.

I can't believe how many people don't want him. Are you kidding me? Any of you seen him play live? He just oozes talent. And what is he like 19 or 20? I think he'll grow out of being a ridiculous child, most people do. I get the apprehension but I think it is being taken too far.

He's 21 and I hope the Celtics don't get a hold of him.

Agree with WarriorTone. If we don't have to gut our roster to get him, let's get it done! 8-)

Monta out of highschool had a major bad rep. He's turned out okay. DMC may or may not mature but the talent is jaw dropping. I don't know how you can say otherwise no matter how bad he's started this year. Last year I saw him play about 5, 6 times and made up my mind that he was going to be a star. It's a matter of time. He's definitely not just another role center.

Only if we don't give up our starters with the exception of Dorell. That guy is starting to piss me off. I don't care about the missed shots. It's his decision making that's driving me insane.

I'm all for getting Cousins but Monta probably isn't the best example.

The kind of crazy Cousins is isn't the same as the attitude problems Monta was labeled as having.

From all accounts I've heard and seen written down... this guy could be a borderline personality
