Atl trades:

Andre Iguodala $13,531,750

$13,531,750 * 1,25 = 16,914,687

Why for Indy? Iggy is the better fit and we love having him next to Granger, Dude is also hitting 3's lately. Good dealing, Atl.

Confirmed. We like Gay more than Iggy, and the move gives us flexibility with future trades going forward.

CHI sends:
Al Jefferson ($13,500,000)
Mo Williams ($8,500,000)

Total: $22,000,000

ATL sends:
Paul Pierce ($15,333,334)
Channing Frye ($5,600,000)

Total: $20,933,334

As Kees would say (bc i think he can't do math :P), close enough! Great dealing. I lose a big, but get paul pierce a former finals MVP and great captain. he will pair with rose and thibs very nicely.

Trade #95 - PHX & NJN

PHX sends:
Shannon Brown - $3,500,000
Rights to Donatas Motiejunas
2012 LAC 1st

NJN sends:
OJ Mayo - $5,632,637
EDIT: $500,000 cash

Phoenix has the cap space to absorb the additional salary.

Why for PHX?

We add yet another young, core piece to our rebuild in OJ Mayo. We are extremely excited about OJ and the dynamics that he will add to our team.

EDITED to include $500,000 in cash

Confirmed. Pierce is great, but we wanted to get a bit younger, and a Williams/Ellis/Gay/Jefferson/Varejao starting 5 with great depth isn't bad. Good dealing Chi

CHI sends:
Corey Maggette ($10,262,069)
Channing Frye ($5,600,000)

Total: $15,862,069

NJ sends:
Jordan Farmar ($4,000,000)
Greg Oden ($7,500,000)
Julian Wright ($1,000,000)
Total: $12,500,000

Money works under both rules (1.5*12 > 15.8 and 12+5>15.8). Trust me, I'm good with math. I like oden's upside, and farmar makes a great backup to rose. great dealing NJ! it's been too long

New Jersey accepts this trade and feels we are back on track in our efforts to retain Deron. We get a lock down defensive SG in Brown who is still developing. He has improved his J dramatically in the last year and continues to be an athletic freak in the open court. In addition, we add one of the most coveted European bigs with Dirk like skills. Obviously we will have to see how he develops, but we feel this is a terrific value for OJ. The pick will probably be late 1st, but is a nice asset. Great dealing with Phoenix in this trade - SunScorched got the deal put together in about 10 minutes - on Emails. Look forward to working with you again, Thanks

The Nets are pleased to accept this deal from the Bulls. As always, the deal was examined from every angle and once completed - changed. I would expect nothing less from da Bulls! but feel that we both got what we wanted. Even "Blazer50" has to question Greg Oden's chances of ever really contributing in the Association, but Chi was partly interested in an expiring contract. Since NJ was looking to move OJ, Maggette was an attractive alternative. As a vet he is playing himself into shape, but with the clock running down Corey will get to rim, the line or pop from distance. He should be a great rotation with D Will and Shannon Brown. Frye is also a great acquisition with a big following from his days in NY. He offers the Stretch 5 versatility to Tyrus Thomas' banger approach while still being an active defender and rebounder. Farmer and Julian Wright were expendable and we retained Reggie Williams, Mike Dunleavy and Chris Singleton through both trades (95 & 96)
Great dealing with RR9 once again!

CHI and CLE have agreed upon a deal.

CHI Incoming
Tim Duncan (21,164,619)
Anthony Parker (2,250,000)
CLE 2012 1st (traded to Chicago if it's a top 8 pick; if not in 2012, will get 2013 unprotected pick)
DAL 2012 2nd

Total: $23,414,619

CLE Incoming
Joakim Noah (12,000,000)
Manu Ginobili (12,981,037)
Jordan Farmar (3,250,000)

Total: $28,231,037

Deal works, +5m.

Cavs accept, we think Jordan Farmar has the potential to become the next Jason Kidd.

Milwaukee and Charlotte have a deal to announce.

Bucks out:
Shaun Livingston ($3,500,000)
Matt Bonner ($3,365,000)
Jon Brockman ($1,000,000)
MIL 2012 2nd
Total = $7,865,000

Bobcats out:
Shawne Williams (2,000,000)
Kris Humphries (8,000,000)
Total = $10,000,000

Salaries close enough to work. The Bucks do this deal because we think Shawne Williams is finally starting to play to his potential and Humphries is a nice young forward to provide some scoring and rebounding for me.

PHX owns CLE's 1st rounder.

2012 CLE 1st - top 8 protected for 5 years.

Accepted.

Shaun Livingston is showing a lot of promise after the devastating injury he suffered a few years ago. His display of incredible defense, great court vision and an incredible feel for the game are the exact reasons why he was a lottery pick a few years ago. Nice dealing.

You own his pick if it is outside the top 8 picks, now Chicago owns it if it is within the top 8 picks.

Didn't know you could do that. Isn't this, essentially like trading consecutive picks?

Trading consecutive picks is allowed in these games, but to answer your question, no. You have a 50/50 shot of getting Cleveland's pick this year. If it is not top 8, it's yours and the pick then becomes an unprotected 2013 1st for Chicago. If the pick is top 8, Chicago gets it and you get a 2013 top 8 protected pick. Really nothing changes from your end.
