Yeah alot falls on a coaches shoulders though, and to be honest his job is to get whatever team he is coaching to play to their max ability and while the Wizards do have quiet a few knuckleheads they are a very good team when each player plays to their ability. John Wall is bound to become one of the best PG's in the NBA, Nick Young is a effective scorer, Crawford can contribute in a variety of ways and is still young, Rashard Lewis can score (despite not showing the will to do so), Andre Blatche can score and defend well when he seems interested in the game (actually Blatche probably is one of the better PF's in the league when he seems interested), and McGee is developing into a pretty good Center.... Seriously this team should be winning at least half of its games....
Other Teams that arent playing to their talent:
Clippers
Timberwolves
Mavericks
Kings
Nets

John Wall seems to be going through a sophomore slump, we'll see if he actually becomes one of the best point guards with such competition around the league.
Nick Young is by no means an effective scorer, he seems to be a low percentage shooter and black hole to me, only Jordan Crawford is less willing to pass than Young.
Blatche and McGee both are spoiled, arrogant youngsters who don't seem to understand the game of basketball. I thought that both of them would have improved more by now.
Add a washed up Rashard Lewis, who was basically just a great scorer and match-up problem in his prime, nothing more, and you get a lot of talent, true. But I think that there are too many egos and players who need the ball in their hands. Similar situation as the one in Sac Town. I don't expect this team to achieve anything until some roster changes are made. I don't see the chemistry.

Did not have a very good game either. Do not really miss him now and will have forgotten all about him once Reggie Williams is here.

ditto. i look at that wiz roster and just laugh, only slightly less than when i look at the kings. its like some of these gms just put together their teams like fantasy teams, no regard to chemistry, attitudes, playing style, egos. you could combine the kings and wiz and i still dont think they could win.

random question. how many current nba pgs would you rather have on your team right now over jennings? i was discussing this at work today with a buddy who apparently had an argument with a friend of his who was a jennings fan boy. me and my work friend both agreed that we could probably name 20 pgs we would rather have.

Jax had 6 turnovers tonight and shot 1-7 from 3. Jennings finished 4-19 0-7 from 3.

What a mess. Jennings is a humongous disaster at the point. You cannot have your point guard shooting 19 times unless your Derek Rose or Steve Nash. He's going to cause an implosion on that team with all his chucking. #badchemistry

and I just picked up Delfino for my fantasy team yesterday (for 3pts and steals mostly). I should have known better.

I agree on Wizards. But Veselý is scheduled to play on Friday. He (and maybe other rookies) is the only bright spot.

Wow, Jax has been a disaster. But it's not like we didn't expect that.

@fats, I would put Rubio in the no-brainer category. serious. He has been ridiculously amazing so far and will even get better. I take him over Curry, Wall, etc.

I'd add DJ in there in the young maybes, move Holiday to the young maybes, and consider Aaron Brooks in the young maybes as well, and take Douglas and Maynor out. I'd rather have Jennings (if I'm thinking long term) than Douglas and Maynor.

Looks like Memphis got their 4/5 to help with depth while Randolph is out. Not much offense though, maybe they'd still consider a trade.
