Best sources for information?
What sites do you use for basketball related information, e.g., advanced stats, rumors, salary cap info etc.
At first I thought this might violate the TOS since it could be considered advertising, which is why I didn't want to include any websites in the first post, but I don't think it's really an issue since everyone here links to practically every site on the internet.

for salaries I use storyteller or shamsports.

Re: Best sources for information?
i used to love hoopshype for news and rumors, but now i just come to realgm forums; there's always a thread on anything remotely relevant.
For regular stats/game logs I go to ESPN, for metrics 82games and bball reference. I dont look at salary data much, but when I do I prefer Dos Equis. I mean Sham Sports.

I remember once an F-22 Raptor crashed and I posted a thread on the Raptors board entitled "Raptor plane crash!"
Best thing I've ever done.

82games doesn't calculate PER correctly. Who knows what else is wrong there. I like using bball reference.

I think sham sold shamsport, and the new owners don't put the care into it that he did.
Wyn's got a great salary site as well, and he's really quick to update it. He's the co-founder of canishoopus too. Here are those links for salary:

I pretty sure that's still sham's website. He went to law school though, and doesn't put the same time into it.

I use the two links shrink posted for salaries (and shamports also but he isn't updating as frequently). For stats, basketball-reference and hoopdata. For rumors, etc., RealGM.
