More Reason to Make a Run at Gordon Trade
Wolves need to inquire about Hornets Gordon...now with Henry they have multiple young SG's.
The Sixers, Grizzlies and Hornets have agreed in principle on a three-team trade.
Marreese Speights will go to the Grizzlies, Xavier Henry to the Hornets, while Philadelphia will acquire two future second round picks.
The trade is on course to be completed on Wednesday.

If they dont see a high value in our draft pick, i say 12+ in the lottery, maybe we could make a pack to get gordon and our pick back. But if we are not talking about our pick, they will not be interested in make minnesota better this year.

We can inquire all we want, it's not going to happen. He was the centerpiece in the Paul trade.

Thats like saying we should look into trading Kevin Love once we got Randolph last year because we have multiple young PF's

If NOH wants to tank, they were favorable to a trade I suggested, Kaman + MIN 1st for Brook Lopez, who's out for a while with a broken foot.
Once that MIN pick is traded, I could see a Derrick Williams + Pek + cap relief for Gordon + Okafor going down. Gordon has been fighting injuries, and has not looked like he wants to be in NOH.

I don't follow you, shrink. IF they want to tank then they WOULD be favorable to a trade? Was this posted and did they like your proposed Kaman + MIN 1st for Lopez deal? Sorry, just confused about what you're trying to say, but I'm curious.
I get the feeling something goofy is going on with Gordon. We know he doesn't want to be there. Knee bruises take that long to heal?
I would think long and hard about a Williams for Gordon deal. Gordon is only 23 and didn't he say he wanted to play in the midwest anyway?

Isn't Gordon always fighting injuries??
Maybe he's not the "guy" everyone around here presumes him to be?

Thought this was going to be about Ben Gordon then I thought I'd rather go after Iguodala. Eric Gordon would be hard to obtain.
Better to remain silent and be thought a fool than to speak and to remove all doubt

Games played for Gordon last three years:
78
62
56
His last year was the year he injured his ankle, I believe. Let's not distort his injury risk.
Also, he played lights out at FIBA last summer.

How much would people pay Gordon? We'd have to extend him before January 25th, or risk having to match a deal for him next year. Has he shown he's worth Iggy money?

And now hes injured this year. That's three years in a row with injuries. That's a legitimate concern.

You be the judge:
PPG APG RPG PER
20.0 3.0 4.0 18.70
FG: 45%
3: 37%
FT: 81%
asst/turnover: 1.4

Ben Gordon vs. Eric Gordon first three year in the league. Not much of a difference:

Sorry, I should have been clearer. Nets fans were wondering if they could get a pick for Lopez if he was injured, and I suggested NOH with MIN pick and Kaman. NOH's poster, and neutral posters, seemed to like the deal too.
If they go down the tank road, trading Kaman and their 1st for Brook Lopez will make NOH's record worse, because Lopez will be sidelined for so long with his broken foot. Then a trade with us would further improve their pick, and may produce better win-later assets in youth, cap space and picks.

Where are you getting these numbers? The first numbers seem to be his average from this year. His average of 1 game.
The second numbers look to be his career averages.

Ha. You're right. Nice that the "career" page on ESPN lists the current season average right on top. I should've known better from the round numbers:
Pts: 18.1
Rebs: 2.7
Assts: 3.3
However, last year was really his breakout year, I believe. He averaged, 22pts, 2.9 rebs, and 4.4 assts. How's his defense? I haven't watched enough of him to know. I know he's quick though.

The best year of Ben Gordon's career was his third, so while the Gordon's first 3 years are very comparable Eric Gordon can separate himself by continuing to improve.

Eric Gordon? Disagree. He hasn't played much of it in the NBA.
Somebody have Synergy stats to back me up?
