hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahah. Are you kidding me? hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha. I dont hate the Jets, in fact I root for them when they do not play against the Giants. But come on, enough of the excuses. Everyone in NY just saw Elite ELI make adjustments after every other player on offense went down with an injury. He went on to have 5000 yards, almost 30 td's and a 92 QB rating. He would have had even more impressive numbers, imagine that, if the WR"s didn't drop 5 easy catches per week and didn't tip the ball over to the defenders for Interceptions.

I know what McElroy is saying. Of course, that wasn't the only reason. I the portion of the interview where he said that he's never seen a group of players who were only concerned about getting their numbers like on the Jets. So it's much more than Mason. I think it also had to do with the Jets not discipline Holmes when he spoke out against Shotty and threw a bunch of people under the bus. Holmes is a cancer but untradeable because of his hunormous contract.

ok not making excuses for the jets here, im a fan and theyre straight up embarassing themselves and us fans. but the eli comparisons are pointless cause sanchez is in his third year. and lets be real, didnt every giant fan blame shockey for eli's problems once shockey went down and the giants made their superbowl run?? so yeah cry baby receivers can impact qbs, especially young ones, by constantly bickering at them. i dont get this eli stuff, talk to me in 4 or 5 more years when sanchez is a vet before u compare them. sanchez's #s are very similar to elis after three years, go take a look.

im not condoning anything the jets have done or saying they were in anyway anything but a complete embarassing failure this year, but you bringing eli into it makes no sense. clearly mason wasnt the problem with sanchez, holmes very easily couldve been, just like shockey was to eli,

I don't believe McElroy would have a reason to make excuses. He was a rook who got hurt early. He had a courtside seat to the mess that was that locker room.
