lamar
did you ever make any aba videos of warren jabali, john brisker or wendell ladner?
for those not familar
-jabali was a muslim in the aba and he hated everyone. he tried to fight the entire league
-brisker was nuts and like jabali tried to fight the entire league. he carried guns everywhere and its rumored that in the late 70s he went to uganda to become a mercenary where he was eveutually killed by firing squad
- ladner was a white party boy from the south who played like a crazy mad man on the court, loved to fight anyone, was notorious for diving into stands for loose balls, once dove into a glass water cooler where he had to get 48 stitches and there was so much blood he made a lady in the front row pass out.... and he wanted to keep playing. he also was a notorious poon hound. he died in a plane crash at 26.

Re: Off Topic IV
After I read the ABA book I chased down every documentary, youtube video, full game etc. I could find and I don't recall seeing any footage of Warren Jabali and John Brisker. I did find plenty of Ladner, so I attempted to make a mix. Looking back at it now, I can't say that I enjoy watching it, unfortunately there simply isn't enough footage of the ABA. At least the video now looks pretty sloppy to me.

Favourite bit has to be at 1:12 where he hands the ball off and just runs over that guard.

Gamecocks are playing on ESPN right now in the Capital One bowl. We'll probably lose (because we suck in bowl games) and it'll probably be ugly (both teams run first, second, and third).
But we are going for the first 11 win season in school history. Something to watch for!

That was a magnificent pass to end the half.
I think we're going to win this. If we can stop that white boy from running the ball, we can win this game.

We don't really talk politics here but the Repubbies are coming to my home state in a few weeks for a primary. Bachmann dropped out today leaving Romney, Paul, and Huntsman to fight against the Conservative bloc.
Should be interesting. I wouldn't be surprised if Romney lost in South Carolina and I don't see Paul finishing as well as he did in Iowa. New Hampshire is first though, which I expect to be Romney, Huntsman, and Paul in that order.

I hope everyone saw the typo from the Charlotte Observer. Says Barron Davis wont because recovering from a herniated dick. Have to read the explanation from Bonnell. Hilarious mistake by an editor.

Speaking about politics or uhm religion in this case, I have to say Scandinavians seem to think outside of the box:

Oh yea, I'm so so so happy about that. Clemson fans going to be crying tomorrow.
I figured WVU would win but not by this much. Neither team can play defense though. That matters a bit more in football than basketball.

I'm happy cause I bet WVU. Getting +3 and I'm pretty much a winner already. Lost with the Bobcats earlier tonight, took the under 47 in the first half. Thought they might start out slow because they played last night. Knicks screwed me on that one.

All my friends that go to Clemson are going crazy on Facebook right now. Neither team deserves to be in a BCS bowl right now but you can bet I'll be talking **** once this game goes final!

I was sh*t talking at half time son, what you talking about?
You know what's really sad though? Had WVU played like they had in the first half, it would probably be 80 or 90 to 26 now.
As my stepdad said while we were watching the game: "This is an embarrassment to the entire state of South Carolina."
How true.

Re: Off Topic IV
I didn't want to jinx it! We're 2-0 when I don't check the box score of Bobcats games.
But now? After Clemson gave up the most points EVER in a BCS bowl? To a team that doesn't even deserve to be in said game? Oh.... Classic!
And to make matters worse. Clemson fans (at least the ones on my fb) are beyond annoying. Every Saturday morning my feed is flooded by "GO TIGERS!", after every game it's, "So proud to be a tiger", after tonight they'll be playing the whole woe is me card.
I just don't like all of the in your face, give me attention type of people Clemson fans seem to be.

That's pretty universal. I lived in Central, SC for a year (about 10 minutes from downtown Clemson) and I was right in the middle of it. That was the year their little kicker missed a FG to tie the game.

Life was hilarious for a while around there.

Not really, USC won.
