Yeah...well pat yourself on the back.

I am happy we let him go...people will say it was due to Cousins...I say this was done for "basketball reasons"

I doubt anything will change. The losing will continue.

Perhaps, but I bet we see a more spirited effort. Heck, we might actually see the ball move around...

We dont know that for sure ! That said even if we still this year are a losing team overall it was far better to do this now to see how the team responds to the new coach , to see if it helps DMC overall .
Westy never really admitted to anything ever being his fault . He through DMC under the bus on quit a few occassions and did that here and there to others .
Bottom line he was a deer caught in headlights as a coach he couldn't tell his head from his @ss . Players lost all respect from him . When that happens you will always get fired .

Westphal being fired doesn't change the fact that you still have the immature and arrogant DMC. That's a bigger problem if you ask me.

Do you watch King's games or are you just commenting based on what you've heard/ read? DMC played great last night.

Yes he is immature and one of MANY problems on this team but Westphal's failure to control the team and get them to execute and effective offense was a MUCH bigger problem than Cousins.

I disagree. He could be a problem, or he could calm down and turn into a good player, but whatever happens, he's not the one making substitutions and running the offense. A bad coach is always in a position to do more harm than a bad player.

Yes!

Hopefully Coach Smart will be able to install a competent offense on the go.

Nobody asked you !

Nobody here really denies he has maturity issues . He will mature as a player . There have been quit a few cases of maturity issues were players have grown into being a really good - great player and well respected . 1 of those players as an example was Lamar Odom .

Salmons has been an effective NBA starter for many of teams when utilized properly. Why is he unnecessary?

I watched the Kings play the Grizzlies. It was weird. The Kings' players were just taking turns on offense to see should try o score.
