Frizzledrizzle, if you believe in unicorns then there is a good chance you still believe in Santa Clause, the tooth-fairy, and bigfoot. Sucker.

Clearly I said 7'2" healthy centers are rare. How do you argue with somebody you agree with? On the other hand you need to brush up on your comprehension skills because they aren't very good.

Where we disagree is that you would rather not listen to offers for Hibbert, where I would welcome any trade talks that include getting a legit all-star talent in the blocks. I'm thinking 'big brothers like West and Foster could guide said player (Cousins) until he matures.

Head-to-head, without enforcers, Cousins would brutalize Hibbert.

8.6/18.0 fg(47.8%) 1.6/4.6 3pt(34.8%) 2.8/3.2 ft(87.5%)

If that doesn't fit with the team, I'd like more players that don't fit with the team. :)

I often post these #'s on the trade board when I'm trying to drive up his value.

Care to post his current percentages like I2TW did on another thread. FYI he is shooting 34% from the field.

NOTE: Having a 20ppg player is great, but not when it takes 20 shots to get there. Granger needs to step up if you ask me. Against the Nets, we had our best game of the season in terms of fg%. Which is weird because Granger took the most shots (14) and only connected on 4 of them, at a rate of 28%. I am not saying that he isn't capable, but he is missing easy midrange shots.

Apparently Fizzle is friends with Greg Gutfeld? Or maybe just doesn't understand when you say that Hibby is about as common as a mythical creature that is rare at best and BTW I've never seen one. I'll kieep Hibby and as for Cousins, he's got talent but I don't think we need any head cases. I might give a #1 pick for him if it seems we can make him happy.

No Hibby just needs a better PG to pass the ball to him, not a knock on Collison but Darren is no quite there yet. 8-)

Fair enough, say we keep Hibbert, and check the status of Tyreke Evans.

Granger <---> Tyreke +filler

Tyreke could play the 2, or we could move Collison for a decent 2. Darren still has value, or atleast he does on the Trade board.

I have a lot of dislike for Evans, and so does Larry. I would rather get someone who can go 2-3. A guy who can fit the role very well is Kevin Martin.

I am almost certain Bird said he explored the idea of trading up to get Tyreke, if he started to slip.

Tyreke showed amazing promise during his rookie campaign.

Martin is an interesting player, but I'd want a little more if we swapped Granger. I'd consider it if they added Patterson or something.

As far as I know, Houston are super high on Patterson so I doubt they'd trade him for a good season or two when they know what they'll be getting out of him. Martin might be an option, but I think we're a long way off entertaining such an idea.

These kinds of trades will likely be looked at during the offseason as I'm sure the bosses would like to give Vogel a full (well, full-ish) season with this group.

If Granger is on the block, which I don't think he will be until next summer, Larry Bird will ask big in return.

Kevin Martin? Good, but injury prone.
Tyreke Evans? Talented, but got some off-court problems.
Monta Ellis? Mature verison of Evans, but also trouble with off court behavior.
Eric Gordon? Good idea, but the Hornets would hang up the phone in no time.

Here's my though, if we are going to give away a former all-star, it's quite reasonable to ask one back. Although Granger struggle this season, he's still 28 with healthy body. We could make Granger and Collison a package and trade an All-star point guard.

For instance, just some crazy though,

Granger, Collison and 2012 1st round pick(top 5 protected) for Deron Williams and Marshon Brooks.

Deron don't feel happy in the Nets recently, and he'd be happy to play around with Hibbert, West, and Geroge. We could start Dahntay Jones at SG and Brooks can join Hill and Hansbrough become the stongest bench in the league!!

We'll probably be more interested in picking up 2012 picks than giving them up.

the TV and radio guys seem to think he needs to learn how to step back rather than up. the consensus seems to be that he's struggling to change from being the only real scoring option on the team to one of many. makes sense to me. I see him as still forcing things. his shooting percentage should come up when he starts taking fewer bad shots and gets more comfortable moving the ball on his to his improving teammates.
