Tyson and Howard on the same team?

cross that bridge when you get there

but ship out amare at first chance

dude, you'd be calling for everyone to jump off the bridge when we got there.

Melo was coming here whether we had Amare or not.

Rather he'd try to sell it to us..... then tell us to jump off it.

he didn't "willingly" go to ny. he went b/c nobody in their right mind would give him 5 years $100 mil guaranteed and UNINSURED. suns only wanted to give him 3 years guaranteed. don't think he wanted to be a knick - he went where the money was. so don't use that in an argument to support him. if you want to talk about how he played after he got here and made ny relevant again, cool. but him going to the knicks was 100% about money.

Your money argument is fair. You are also right about his play. We have seen what he is capable of doing in a Knick uniform to early cast him off despite his current short comings.

Melo was leaving a winning situation in Denver. He didn't come here to pair up with another star. He came here because he wanted to play for the Knicks. He even said he thought he was gonna be a Net. He was just trying to force his way to NY by any means necessary. That was pretty obvious.

Amare's defense has always been a problem. But it's not like you can't win with him. That being said, the combination of Amare/Melo is not a good one. Amare/Wade, Amare/Paul might be among the best 1-2 punches in NBA offensively, but Amare and Melo stand in each other's way and neither is a good defender.

A guy comes to the team, only because that team was willing to way overpay for him. Guy even says he would have saved with his old team, if they offered the same deal. Trading the guy could improve the team's chances of winning. Guy still gets the money he wanted.

Hmmm.. not seeing how that is crazy disloyal. If Amare came to NY and gave NY a big discount, then you'd have a point.

Amare was 2nd team All NBA last season, not going to turn on him for a couple of bad games. There plenty of blame to go around for this awful start. Besides just blaming Stat for it.

you understand the word PR bro? How sure are you when GS, Houston, clippers are willing to trade for amare or in a sign and trade?Oh add cleveland to that. Just because phoenix who has the cheapest owner isnt willing to sign him doesnt mean other owners too. Can other teams still outbid for amare when ny who has the best market already offered him max. Whats the use of bidding when they cant anymore beat ny's offer

or maybe he knows the ceiling of denver is conference finals so its better to start a new team. In fact in just 1 year, he already had a lineup that I consider favorites this season. Melo knows he aint winning in a small market. Jordan, Bird, Kobe won in a big market. And he also knew he aint winning without a big man and so he came here to be the 2nd option to amare.

LMAO at these trade ideas. Trading amare is equal to abandoning your championship hopes. It is easier to build around amare than to build around melo. Amare's suns with few tweak could have already won a chip. In fact if they werent screwed, He wouldve a chip by now. Whereas melo made it to the conference finals only due to luck that amare had that eye injury. LOLs Sorry but there are only 3 players in this league that you can build around. Amare, Howard and Blake. Dirk is old already so I wouldnt include him. Maybe Aldridge is right there.

Why? Coz there is only perimeter player that has legit title in the last 10 years. Wades ring was with the help of the refs and kobes 2nd ring too. The only legit ring by a perimeter player was kobes against orlando but still he needed the best frontcourt in bynum, gasol, odom to get that ring.
And lets not forget that shaq was the mvp of those heat team until wade exploded in the finals with the help of the refs. And oh btw, past prime shaq>>>>lebron and bosh LOL. Thats how impactful big men are.

Impactful players already impacts the game at an early age. Duncan, Dirk, Shaq had been contending at an early age and I classify amare as one of them. So stop the hate. Big men>>>>>>>>perimeter and so amare>>>>>>>>>melo and its not even close. LOL If you want to trade anyone on this team, then it should be melo coz amare has been winning with this team until melo came.

Dude, crack is bad. Stop taking it.

It wasn't luck Melo got the conference finals. He just finally had a year with no awful luck. Check his teams before that season and after. Cancer, injuries, horrible outside shooting, horrible coaching, etc. Denver had no place being in the playoffs most of the years Melo was in Denver, he carried them there. There is a reason why Melo won in college (with a young team) and never missed the playoffs in the NBA. Wade, Bosh, Lebron can not make that claim.

So if we don't deserve a winner, we should stick with Amare then?
