They gave up five straight touchdowns, turned the ball over two of their last three possessions, and dropped three INTs that Brees put right in their hands but it's the refs fault for missing a holding call on Corey Williams.

the refs were terrible but the team lost this game. Had it remained a one score game, they might have an argument

I agree. Just when you lose one game to a back-up QB and 7 other starters being held out (even though you still had a chance when your QB threw an INT to lose the game) then the next week give up 5 straight TDs (your QB throws two ints in the last three possessions) don't blame the refs no matter how bad they were.

interesting right up on Suh. Puts the boards concerns about Raji's lack of pressure this year a bit more into perspective. It seems like the league has been changing rather drastically the past few seasons and at this point the offenses are way ahead of the defenses because of the rule changes and trend toward spread offenses. It was refreshing to see two teams that couldn't get their defenses off of the field on 3rd down. Based on what I saw, I have no reservations about Rodger's ability to move the ball on offense, and while I appreciate the importance of a run game, play calling on the possessions following the turnovers was a bit specious during the first half.

Nagler has said it a few times on twitter, but I really think it's true: if the packers lose next week (or any week this season), it'll be because of how the packers play, not because of the other team. As has also been pointed out in this thread, turnovers will be key throughout this postseason, and I'll take Tramon, Woody, Clay, et al over the other offensive teams any day of the week. We got this. (*double check* *raji dance*)
You gotta make it sexy! Hips and nips, otherwise I'm not eating.

I think the Lions would have won if they caught at least half of the four passes Brees threw right into their hands.

Rooting for Pats or Broncos?

I'm already sick of the Tebow coverage so not having that would be nice, god knows what it would be like if they beat the Pats. But taking out the Pats would mean that the strongest team in the AFC is out. Go Broncos I guess

I am completely jacked for today's games. I hope we get two good games.

Rooting for the Niners and Broncos. I loathe the Tewbow coverage, but I'd rather get Brady out of the playoffs.

Return to Green Bay Packers
