Lamb showed absolutely no heart in that game, Drummond is such a project... The sure fire1 prospect in my eyes is now Anthony Davis

Did drummond actually look like a post player or was he still the awkward big kid who would fail against players his own size?

just found out Barnes is hitting 48% from behind the arc, make me kinda wanna get both MKG and Barnes by trading DD for the extra pick, MKG as SF and Barnes as SG.

I still believe Drummond is THE catch of this upcoming draft.

One defender is running away, another is getting out of the poster and the PG is watching in amazement.

its also the first time seeing him using one handed dunk in college (on youtube he uses one hand alot) but i see him dunking two handed everytime. i just always assume him to be blake griffin type, catch and go right up type...but haven`t seen him do that much.

How can Lamb show heart from the bench? He was sitting with foul trouble a good chunk of the game.

Drummond is raw in terms of fundamentals, not so much in terms of skill.

Rutgers is a pretty good team. They beat Florida too.

UConn is too young and inexperienced right now.

They never fed him the ball in the post against Rutgers. Drummond's skillset isn't as raw as some would have you believe. In other games I've seen the ability to score with his back to the basket and facing up. He can really pass too, though he uncharacteristically through away several passes in this game. He has huge defensive potential. He really moves his feet well and has strong shotblocking instincts.

Where he's raw is in terms of fundamentals (establishing post position, boxing out).

Agreed. I like Anthony Davis, but people act as though he's displayed an all around game in college when his offensive game has been limited to fast breaks, alley-oops and putbacks. That's not to say he doesn't have offensive skills, but his role on the team hasn't allowed him to demonstrate them.

I would have to see that from Davis to declare him the best player in the draft, because Drummond has huge potential on both ends of the floor. He can play C and PF too.

He is super talented, no doubt. I'm curious why UConn is losing games with the team they have...
If Drummond can have good games against Syracuse in February, that will really show something.

Anyone know what's going on with Quincy Miller and Tony Wroten Jr? I'm reading around that they won't declare this year...true or not?

Perry Jones is really returning to earth now. His last few games hes back to being the player from last year that was leaving you wanting.

His stat line is almost identical to last year's stat line, which is a bit disturbing because the improvement I've seen with my own eyes doesn't seem to be translating into improved play.

For a guy as talented as he is, I'd like to see some meaningful statistical improvement from last year to this year and some kind of clearer indication that he's able to consistently be very good.

apparenlty Drummond is saying he will come back to uconn next year

Rest of the article is here, it was also reported by Tim Chisolm of TSN

“As of right now, I know I’ll be back,” he told SNY.tv exclusively following No. 8 UConn’s 67-60 loss to Rutgers Saturday. “That’s all I could tell you, I’ll be back.”

Drummond says he's staying at UCONN for Sophomore season

http://www.zagsblog.com/2012/01/07/drummond-says-he-plans-to-return-for-sophomore-season/

Even if you’re a Top 5 pick?

“Yeah, I’ll be back,” added the 6-foot-11 Drummond, who tallied 10 points, 12 rebounds, seven turnovers, two blocks and one highlight-reel dunk in which he took off eight feet from the basket and flushed it.
