Hopefully when he gets back, he doesn't get more out of shape, because he looks much different than he did with the Rockets. That being said, I wonder if we'll call up Whiteside to take a few minutes if someone gets in foul trouble?

What he does for this team isn't shown through the stats. The only thing that needs to improve his is fg% but I think he has been great.

I think Hickson will be better because he should have a coach who will define his role on this team for him. The coach will talk straight to him an tell him you are a 4th or 5th option on this team. I need you to hit the boards on both ends and run the floor. I read that Smart's plan is to be a good rebounding and running team and if that is so; Hickson is the type of athletic big who can average a double-double by just rebounding and running the floor.

As far as defense, once again it goes back to coaching; the coach has to explain to him how things will be done on the defensive end. Hayes also can help with this since this was what he was primarily signed to do.

The frustrating thing about HIckson is that he could be a really great finisher if he could just catch the **** ball. Then then again, that's kinda like saying a guy could be a really great shooter if he wasn't blind.

Hickson is still young and developing.. He can be a good player with the right development. The Kings could really use a good big man coach who demands respect *Ewing*

Man, if Cousins had Hickson's finishing ability around the rim, he would be a top 5 player in this league. Cousins relies on his talent and body, but if he had hops like that.... :droop:
