They were giving us jumpshots and, except for about a five minute period in the 2nd half, we couldn't put them down.

We have to improve in this area.

just kept bricking wide open jumpers, Memphis played terrible on both ends minus all the turnovers they forced. The offense for this team has been awful this season and Gasol is finding life a lot harder without Z-Bo next to him

We've got to be able to make open shots, but we didn't play as bad as it seemed. We lost because of disparity in made 3 pointers (5), made/attempted free throws, and getting absolutely crushed on the glass. We were able to generate more shots and made field goals than the Lakers by forcing TOs, but unfortunately it was not enough to overcome the usual lack of outside shooting and the difference in free throws.
