hey, it's Jodi!

I don't think anyone on the Nets board has stated that there is a 100% chance D-Will stays, although we are pretty optimistic.

As recent as two nights ago, D-Will said in an interview that while the present situation is tough, he is very confident in Billy King and has been trusting King's plan to 'see the big picture'.

Just because I'm feeling like a bit of risk taker, how about a sig bet over D-Will re-signing with the Nets?

The conditions are simply, if D-Will resigns with the Nets, I'll give you a sig for your profile that you must keep from the time D-Will re-signs until next Christmas. If he doesn't re-sign, you can write my sig and I'll have to keep it until next Christmas. And just so we know what the sigs are ahead of time, my sig for you would be this: "NyCeEvo kept telling me that D-Will would resign with the Nets, but I kept trolling him and said he wouldn't. I love the Nets and NyCeEvO is my daddy!"

So how about it? You can propose yours if you're willing to take the bet.

But in talking with people inside and outside the Nets organization, it’s clear that Williams is willing to be patient. He’s been engaged in all big-picture discussions and he’s encouraged the team to maintain roster flexibility with an eye toward next summer’s free agency period. Other stars would have demanded that the Nets add payroll (remember, they nearly signed Tyson Chandler and Nene), but Williams didn’t roll an eye when big-name free agents signed elsewhere.

:D

Don't forget the part right above that passage;

"At the very top of that list is Williams’ voice in the Nets front office. It’s hard to imagine him getting that kind of reverence on the Dallas Mavericks, a team many believe Williams would prefer to joining."

So let's backtrack...two nights ago, Deron himself says he's looking at the bigger picture and all that good stuff. Then last night, Hamburger says some source can see him going to Dallas because he already has the money. Now today, it basically says people in and out of the nets organization see deron is being patient and has practically been the GM for the Nets.

Do you guys still want Deron Williams to stay? It seems to as if he's trying to make a statement for you guys not to. It's a shame, because I considered him the best pure PG in the league, but now I'm having second & third thoughts.

Are you referring to his ridiculously inefficient shooting so far this season? I don't like it one bit, but to some extent I can see why he is doing it. I don't see it as him trying to make a statement not to stay, but rather just over compensating for a roster that is lacking talent outside of Brook Lopez and to some extent MarShon Brooks and Humphries. There is almost no one that has played consistently on the offensive end. Our shooters (Morrow and Shawne) can't shoot, the bigs (Sheldon and Petro) can't catch and he just doesn't combine well with our other guards (Gaines and Farmar) because they need the ball in their hands so they can create their shots (did I really say that?).

So guys I heard Deron Williams has completely given up on winning in New Jersey, and will soon request a trade to Orlando, can you confirm/deny this highly reliable info.

Yes, the plan is to tank for Michael Kidd-Gilchrist and win a ring in Brooklyn.

I heard Dwight Howard wants out of Orlando. Thoughts?

Ya, and Jermaine Dupri said Dwight will be a Net by now. Remember what John Ireland said? So what...

To be honest, at this point of time, im more worried if he resigns with the Nets because he'd be here for nothing. The NBA, i believe, was rigged before the new CBA was put in place. Bulls getting the top pick? Miami? Wth is going to beat them this time? Miami is going to win everythng for years to come until their contract expires and realize themselves that theyve made a mistake and now its not fair. I'd rather trade DWill for picks and young talent then maybe we might get lucky and turn those picks to great new young players and by the time the Miami Heat trio's expires we'd be a better upcoming team. Is pointless to try to get other superstars now and battle with the Heat because it will not go anywhere dont you think?

Unless we can get DWill, Howard and Durant on this team, then maybe we might have a shot...

Riiiiight, because every so called "source" especially from Orlando are always 100% correct. Like how they said Dwight would sign that extension

Lmaooooo these trolls keep it coming. Pingalore is the same guy who "reported" Dwight had agreed to an extension prior to the lockout. And even if this is true and Orlando tries to trade for Williams they have no chance at getting him. Absolutely none.

Everyone is dieing for the Nets to fail again by losing Williams and not getting Howard.

Hardly any pundits or so called experts on tv ever talk about us in a positive way. I can't wait for Brooklyn next year and fingers crossed if this "bigger picture" comes to plan we can look forward to some good years ahead.

I read loads of reports off that clickorlando site since the Howard situation started and nearly every time it's just taking shots in the dark. Without quotes or real evidence of any sort.

Lets look at it logically here for a minute, wouldn't Howard ask to be taken off the trade block if he was 80% sure he was staying in Orlando while also recruiting Williams. How would that conversation go with Deron anyway...

"Hey D Will what up?" (D12)
"Aw not much man, just struggling to get some w's here, just ticking over waiting for next season, whats up?" (D Will)
"Well I want you to come join me in Orlando, its tax free!!!" (D12)
"What? Last time we talked you were wanting a trade to the Nets to team up with me and take over New York, look I made a video of us and everything http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=577F3raO4rQ remember the bigger picture" (D Will)
"Yeh I know man, just was asked to try and talk you into putting a trade demand in by Otis" (D12)
"Its ok man I understand" (D Will)
"Alright then, see you in BK July" (D12)
"All day" (D Will)

That D-Will thread in the GB is really annoying to look at, no surprising it's a Magic fan starting it off and saying he isn't an elite PG after 7 GAMES and asks us why he's an elite PG? Then the usual suspects of trolls like bimmer and NYKState of whatever pops out of nowhere and brings in Kobe (for some precarious reason) and straight contradiction respectively.

Seriously the GB is full of knee jerk reaction r-tards who thinks that they can read a box score all of a sudden these guys think they're top tier head coaches. It's stupid, another thing about Magic fans is that I can bet any money right now that before this whole "Dwight & Deron" to Brooklyn thing they would at least count Deron as a top 3 PG. It's so messed up that if we had Paul same threads would happen, if we had Rose same thing, if we had prime Nash, same scenario. It's really pathetic.

Now just because there's that whole possibility, they take every chance they get to hate on him just because they're sour about their current situation. I use to feel bad for them but at this point I can't wait until the off-season. This recent WT about D-Will saying our offense sucks is just going to put more fuel to the fire. Even as obvious as it seems.

I'm not a Raptors fan, I just think it would be funny to see that in your sig...You sure you want to make this bet?..I can see your a big Nets fan, I don't mean to offend with the D.Will comments

If you don't mean to offend, then don't say them. It's laughable that you think you're not a troll.

My only concern with Deron Williams is that I'm starting to accept these **** shooting performances as normal.

I wasn't expecting the guy to shoot 50% from the field especially with all the defensive pressure he's seeing (and the idiotic play-calling from the sideline) but this is some nasty Adam Morrison style **** we're seeing on a game-to-game basis by him.

I know Brook went through stretches where he was similarly inefficient while trying to lead a group of NBA rejects so that's my silver lining to all of this but damn D step yo mother ****in GAME UP SON.
