Key to the game: Keep Focus: This should be a win against a weak team which we blew out 106-70 on openning day, the Hawks just need to keep focus and this'll be a W.

This should be an easy game to win, The Hawks are gonna run this town

Keep Humph in the dumps and we'll prove the Nets are chumps. Sorry, I was watching "When We Were Kings" earlier. Again, the key is keeping Humphries off the boards and out of our bigs' heads but an easy way to kill energy is to blow this game wide open right from the tip.

I'm going to this game in NJ! I am excited to see the Hawks! They should destroy the nets...

i can see the Hawks letting the Nets win this game if the Hawks don't show the respect that the Nets deserve.

as long as the Hawks play professional, discipline basketball and not get lazy by jacking up jumpshot all game long and not playing defense, the Hawks can get an easy win. i'm really worried about the Hawks getting lazy and trying to win the game with long jumpshots all game long.

Hawks just need to stay focused, give the Nets the same respect they give to the Heat and Bulls. Hawks need to not make it easy for the Nets by hitting free throws, play team basketball on the offensive end and play swarming defense, hopefully we can get some big minutes to the bench guys

Beating anybody 3 games in a row has to be more difficult than the 1st 2. The 2nd time was more difficult than the first if you go that route this could very well be a 2 possession game either way.

Would be disappointed in the loss but that is right up our alley.

McGrady is starting?

BOTTOM LINE: Anytime we play small lineups we give them rebounding advantage and the ability to compete via putbacks and tip outs for 2nd chance possessions.

Watch closely. Srsly, an injured Mac is really starting?

Why can't we just play a lineup to jump on em early dominate the boards early and get out and run?

I am starting to think this as well. Hawks are favored by 5.5 points but this game really concerns me.

Damion James F Out Mon - Ankle
Mehmet Okur C Out Mon - Back

2 different Hawks teams;

big Hawks and small Hawks. Smith + Small Forward or Smith + Power Forward

I'm so ready for this game to get over Sunday's NFL tragedy, I'm not that concerned with LSU-Bama.

This is just who I think will be starting, I have no clue who will start, theres a caption on the bottom of the lineup that says lineups subject to change.

I'll have both the Hawks and the National Championship game on. I could careless who wins the National Championship game.

Should be an entertaining night.

I really could care less about Bama-LSU, I really don't care much about college Football unless we're talking about UGA or GT; and I believe UGA can make it to the champ game next year but that's off topic lol, I'll be watching the hawks instead, as for the Falcons game i just have no words how hard that was to watch.

According to Peachtree Hoops, Vlad is starting at SF.

Radmanovic as starter makes our bench a little weak.
I would go with a big line up, so we can outrebound them.
Also Horford on Humphries and Smith on Okur shoud be enough to eliminate off rebounds and open court plays from their center.

But if they play Stevenson at the three position, playing Radmanovic on him could be a risk. A risk with no counterpart on the other end, as the Radman never posts up.

What the h.ell, we should play our game, forget about them (but just try that Horford/Humphries-Smith/Okur) and give Ivan Johnson some minutes.

Good game again to play inside a little more.

Nets fan here...

Hoping the Nets can steal this one. Unlike the other two times, we aren't on a back-to-back. Maybe our team will have more energy and we've been getting better every game.

Put them away before the end of the half, whether Vlad starts or not, game should be a cakewalk

Deron Williams will actually be playing PG full-time this game instead of SG 80% of the time.

Return to Atlanta Hawks
