We could've kept his minimum contract cap hold (we have no cap space for the foreseeable future) for the future in case we need salary to make a deal in the future ala Keith Van Horn with the Mavs when they acquired Jason Kidd, IIRC.

Big Z could've gotten some free dough as repayment for his services, and we'd have some flexibility in say, an Okafor-type deal.

Z isn't even trade filler. No one is gonna want him in a trade package. He offers nothing at his age, and that's why he retired. Z was finished, as evidenced by his terrible performance in the playoffs. PEACE.

Are you familiar with the Keith van Horn for Kidd trade that orangeparka mentioned? His ability to play would have nothing to do with him being part of a trade...

Z (like House) signed for 2 years. So Z could only be a vet mIn filler this year ($1.4m), and then would be an early bird FA next year. It would be til after the 2012-13 season that we could "Van Horn" him.

I think Magloire is the one who has earned his full bird status with us.

Even then, though it's all a lot more difficult than it was for Dallas. We would have BYC issues to deal with as well - Van Horn had just come off a huge contract, where as Z was on a min contract.

That's true. I hadn't considered that.

Washington Wizards in BIG funk right now John Wall himself called team out said they are not playing together so they have BIG TIME chemistry issues. Maybe we can try to trade for Javale McGee any of you think ? Who or what package you think we can offer them maybe ? I am thinking Joel Anthony or James Jones & a draft pick or 2. Washington can amnesty one of them next season if they want to even though i think they will want to amnesty Rashard Lewis first so they have more cap room if they want to get better pieces or a superstar which i doubt will want to go there. They know this season nor upcoming ones they aren't contenders not even for playoffs anytime soon. We can try they are vulnerable now never know all they can say is no :)

Possibly like i said was just a thought and to see what others think or who could we offer i doubt they want Mike Miller back there so JJ i guess is the only other piece worth something its worth a try never know what can happen all they can say is no.

It actually wouldn't be fair if we got him or even Dalembert in off season. I'm pretty happy with the team just need a centre like pryzbilla or somethin

Sheed trying to make a comeback lol.

If he can still defend, rebound, and shoot threes, I wouldn't mind him on the team.

Indeed Sheed would be great got to love his TOUGHNESS as long as he still can play at the level we need him too. Right now what concerns me most of our team is Spo & Lebron fourth quarters are nightmares always blowing leads same reason why we lost in finals settling taking too many jumpers and not making right calls/adjustments. We should have won them Finals NO EXCUSES we are carrying over last years BAD HABITS.

Wizards looking to trade Andray Blatche he would be good for us. As i mentioned on here the other day Wizards are in kaos vulnerable to make trades and that maybe we could try to get McGee from Washington. Blatche wouldnt be bad either he can play a little at the 5 too. He can REBOUND BETTER THAN JOEL & SCORE! We can try the only thing they can say is no if they recieve a better offer. Joel Anthony, James Jones & draft pick if need be for Blatche :)

I had mentioned few weeks ago New Orleans would probably be willing to give up Okafor or Kaman and now its reality they are trying to trade Kaman. We could try to get him for Joel Anthony, Mike Miller & James Jones. We can try all they can say is no it would be good for both teams. Unless we try those same guys for Dwight Howard and throw Mario Chalmers in there :) Its worth a try.
