Malcom Thomas recalled from D-League

Malcolm Thomas of the Los Angeles D-Fenders has been called up to the San Antonio Spurs, according to a source.

Thomas is averaging 14.3 points, 8.3 rebounds and 2.7 blocks per game.

Seen a bit of him while he was at SD State. He's a long athletic combo foward who can block shots, rebound and finish inside. I guess he could be good.

I'd like to give him a chance, see if he can live up to an NBA team. Ike Diogu is not looking overly impressive so I think Thomas has an opportunity to earn a roster spot.
