Drummond said that he's pretty sure that he's coming back for sophomore season.

One thing I forgot to say in this thread...I miss Lopez.
Yeah, you can tell how much of an impact Lopez would have on this offense. I didn't realize how much the Nets offense depended on him.
This is turrble.

Starting Petro = automatic 15 point 1st quarter deficit.
I wonder if Avery can figure out how to fix this problem.

We need to put our best lineup in our starting 5 so that we actually have a chance at not going down by 20 in the 1st quarter.

Next game in Denver...
that should be fun. Well at least Gallinari (who's on my fantasy team) will hit 14 three pointers since opposing players don't miss against us from beyond the arc.

Of course he's going to say that. It's only January. I won't believe him even if he says it after March Madness.

DeShawn injured or just your coach trying out new players?
"Thibs called back and wanted more picks," said Jorge Sedano. "And Pat Riley, literally, I was told, called him a mother-bleeper and hung up the phone."

Re: Official Game Thread #10: Nets vs. Hawks AGAIN (1/9)
I think this game was on Deron. His shots weren't really forced, he was just missing good looks, and it's getting pretty irritating. Show up, man. Even him getting 14 assists isn't really a big deal, because he had 6 TOs, and most of them were legitimately his fault. The TO where Morrow set the screen and Williams traveled, Williams dribbling the ball off his foot, throwing the pass to Brooks when he wasn't looking, posting up Teague and losing the ball when he got doubled...that's 4 TOs off the top of my head that's on Williams.
Yeah, all the big men outside of Humph suck, but you know what, we actually got great contributions from Morrow and Shawne Williams. Brooks played great too. If Deron played better, we win this game.
These losses also go to show you how important Brook Lopez is. I hate all the people on the GB who go on about how even with Lopez, we wouldn't be all that much better, and we'd still suck...If we had Lopez, we win the last two games against the Hawks, we win against the Heat, we win against the Pacers, and we win against the Cavs. That means we'd be sitting at 7-3 instead of 2-8. Even if you don't give us the Heat and Pacers...we'd still be 5-5.
I also want to point out that we hit more 3s than them, we got to the line more, and we outrebounded them. We also didn't shoot a bad percentage from the field either, 47% to their 53%. The difference was 6 TO differential (Williams had 6 TOs), and our PG being outplayed...again. Just some more reasons why I think today's loss is Williams's fault.
