Coming off yet another lopsided defeat, the Wizards again hope to get their first victory Tuesday night when they host the Toronto Raptors.

The No. 1 pick of the 2010 draft is second on the team in scoring at 14.4 points but shooting just 35.1 percent from the floor. As a rookie last season, he averaged 16.0 points on 35.9 percent shooting and 8.0 assists in three games against the Raptors.

Washington split the four-game series with Toronto, winning both contests at home.

The way I see it, it rides on Wall and Crawford. If both play like crap again, it will be another blow out. If both can figure out how to play more structured efficient games, they will be in the game and maybe they pull out their first win.

And I hope Singleton finds his shot. I'm fine with him taking 8 shots but he needs to make more then 1 of them. Everyone need to step it up and play more efficient team ball. Time for them to stop being so stubborn and listen to what Flip has been staying for two years.

Prepare
Bring the energy
Pass it around. Find the open shot.
Communicate
Play with in your skills and focus on your primary job.
Play team ball

Nobody wants to be the first team to lose to the Wizards which is going to make getting that first win harder.

Toronto is 4-5 and they played last night. Depending on what Wiz team shows-up tonight, we at-least have a chance of keeping the game close :-(

Well, then that is our playoff atmosphere.

What I struggle with is this. Do I really want them to win this one or lose one more ugly. I like that the media is dumping all over them. I think it has the potential to finally get through to them as a group so they start listening to their coach ?

Because once they win one, the spot light will not be on them as much. Zero wins is a story that news people will cover.

I mean if they can play right and win, great. But I don't want to see them making the same mistakes and luck into a win so they don't learn anything. I think Dray seems humbled by this and he is slowing getting into better shape. McGee seems to be learning from past mistakes. I think Nick is trying to drive more. He should be settling in. He has only play 5 game so far after missing camp.

Now I want to see some sign that Wall and Crawford as listening. Those to seem to be the toughest nuts to crack IMMO.

But now they are introducing an experience Ves-e-ly. That is going to take ?? games. I have to see him more first before I can tell where he is and what he can add. Hopefully he is good enough playing D that they can at least get him some playing time. Something they couldn't do with other projects like KS.

I thought it would take them about 10 games get this turned in the right direction. 8 down. 2 to go.

Bargnani is going to make Blatche his little biyatch. Maybe after Bargnani scores his career high, we can demote Blatche down to the D-League.

Sweet! That also means Vesely should get some solid minutes, as will Seraphin. I'm also hoping Mo Evans gets all of the backup SF minutes. Let Lewis continue to sit.

+1, the only problem is the shooting of Booker and Vesely. Looking forward to seeing these guys step-up tonight and Wall SHOULD be able to toast Jose.

The twittersphere. Since the game is starting soon I didn't bother posting a link.

We have one offensive player on the floor and Booker is guarding the much-taller Bargs. Yike!

Nice scoop by Singleton high off the glass. Hopefully Wall took notes.

Maybe an empty building will get Ted's attention. Hard to pay to watch this team. It is bad enough watching for free.
