Magic have 2 full days off, and the Blazers are playing the Clippers tonight. Need to take advantage Wednesday and finally beat a playoff team.

Blazers got thrashed by the Suns the following night after the Blazers had beaten the Lakers decisively ...I see no excuse for the Magic here... take care of business!

Very nice game thread, really like the layout. We do have an advantage since the Blazers are playing the Clips tonight and we have had two days of rest and practice to prepare for this team. This will be a good test to play against one of the better teams out West in this short season and in one of the louder arenas in the league at the Rose Garden.

I cannot stress this enough, but we have to match the energy and intensity of the Blazers. These guys play a very uptempo style now and are very deep. I hope Stan sticks to his word and expands the rotation a bit so that guys like Wafer and Earl can get some burn and provide some energy and enthusiasm off the bench. As long as we maintain that energy, keep Dwight out of foul trouble, and have great ball movement, we will get this game. LET'S GET IT!!! 8-)

Good luck pic FTW...

"I don't. I don't see it happening. We don't have guys who really push the ball, and we don't have a lot of runners." says SVG

Stan thinks there are only 4 guys on the team that will run and has no hope it'll ever get better. No expectations, no emphasis on it in practice. Been that way for 2 years he said, the lack of trying to be a fast break team.

Ooooooo...Amerie....sexy...anyway this is a good test for us.....We need to start beating good teams and we have to start with these guys....I hope we utilize the extended bench like we did against the kings...Love to see some Wafer against these guys in spurts to give them a different look....Dwight better have a big game....Anything good from Nelson or J-Rich will be appreciated

that's just sad. We've had the fastest/athletic center (probably EVER) and never utilized his speed against the slow a$$ centers of today...

It is sad. He said Dwight, J-Rich, JJ, and Wafer were the only 4 guys that run. But what he said, the part about not even trying to change the pace anymore in practice, not even thinking about it, was disturbing.

That is disturbing. Finally taking shots at Jameer? I mean, we've heard Stan yelling at his guards over the years to push the ball and they never do. Except for the year we made it to the finals...

Stan has been on a serious public criticism streak here since the season started. Otis said he makes sure to tell the players to their face in the locker room before going public with it at least.

Anyone read about J-Rich's son calling him on the phone and telling he sucked? lol. It seems to have worked. Can this kid sing our national anthem if J-Rich comes back to life?

You know the players have mental issues (or just don't give a damn) when the coach calls you out in private and in public and you do nothing to correct what you're being criticized for.

It really goes with the mentally weak tag we've been rockin' since the Detroit playoff days.

Does anybody have a trusted website link to watch this (or future games) live? I live in Heat Sun Sports/FSN territory :-? Thanks in advance...
