The refs didn't loose the game. Too many turnovers, poor outside shooting, and even at the end, some bad game management and bad plays truly lost this game.

Defense still needs work, but team did a good job on Lamarcus, but it seemed to also open up scoring for others through that. Offense is good because the Clippers have every starter with a +.550 TS%, but the offense could have been more fluid.

No way.
We just didn't have enough tonight and CP3 wasn't on top of his game.

Blazers deserved it, as they wanted it a bit more then our guys.

Now let's see how solid we are during those next two games against the Heat and Lakers, which could easily get us under .500 if we don't bring it.

Some calls, or lack of, were pretty questionable, but in the end we still had a chance to win and made mistakes on both sides of the court. The defense is still pretty bad.

Good game guys. You guys got got us the first time which makes the season series 1-1 and judging by how close both games were, it seems like these teams match up well. The clippers darn near won this and clearly this game was even closer than the score indicates.

Well, we finally won a rebound battle. Too bad it didn't pay off.

Thanks and same to you. This should be a good season series. The Clippers need these types of intense games strong playoff contenders.

Frustrating game, but it is what it is. We were operating pretty well offensively, but just couldn't get stops. We also sent them to the line too much, they hit their free throws, they got a lot of fortunate tip-ins/loose balls, etc.

DJ should be putting up Camby-type numbers not sure why he's having so much difficulty boxing out other bigs & averaging at least 10 rebs :sigh:
Butler & Billups :wordyo:
CP3 & BG32
Miami up next! Time to regroup.

He needs to learn how to box out. He doesn't have the lowest center of gravity, but with his size and his length/reach, there's not an excuse to be pulling down rebounds. His problem is that he's going straight up and down. He's not really positioning himself for rebounds.

The Blazers have really forced a lot of turn overs on us both times we played them. Hopefully we can play a cleaner game next time we play.
I've been an LA Clipper fan since 1998 and that will never change. I hate our new logo and jerseys!

Disappointing loss because of how it ended. But expected considering it's at the Rose Garden, arguably the toughest arena to play at in the league.

DJ was rebounding well last season, but this season he hasn't been impressive on either end. The team needs to practice and work on defensive principles even more, and realistically for the long term, DJ needs a big man coach. You can't invest so much money in the guy and then not get him someone to tutor him.

The offense like I've mentioned has been scoring because of the efficient players that are starting, but in principle, the offense is bad. Too stagnant, too much isolation of Griffin, not enough secondary movement after the first option is set up. This is kind of how Vinny does operate, but he needs to make adjustments and get the team moving more.

Lastly, Caron is taking too many three point shots and too many contested mid-range jumpers.
