Key to the Game: Play at our own pace: The Hawks have to control the pace of this game in order to win, we can't play into their hands and let them dictate the tempo of the game.

Most inspirational song I've ever heard, mixed along with the most inspiring movie I've ever seen.

Drew will use the same starting lineup tonight as he did at New Jersey: Teague, Johnson, Radmanovic, Smith, Horford. Drew said he anticipates using the bench guys normally tonight after riding the starters at New Jersey. -ajc

for the Taco-Mac fans:
Drew said he’s managing McGrady’s minutes for the long term: “We don’t want to wear him down. We are going to look at different situations with him: matchups, back-to-backs and how he’s feeling physically. We will weigh all those [factors]. Minutes-wise, he’s going to be a guy who comes off our bench and rely on him to play consistent minutes.”

this could be a hard game. the Pacers are strong from 1 through 5. they have a quality guy at every position and no real weakness, especially the way Paul George has been playing.

Indy is not a team that has any big names, but they are a team filled with solid players. this could be a challenging game for the Hawks.

i'm interested to see how Teague does as he goes back home as a starter.

We've performed well against the Heat and Bulls even in our losses but Indiana is a lower tier good team like Houston that we don't come out fuly prepared against. Marvin would have been a plus against George and Granger but I guess TMac'll be ready with the rest he's gotten. I wonder when Hibbert will notice that he's hasn't gotten respect enough to have the big lineup deployed against him.

Horford shoulder sprain out for the rest of the game, anyone have a feeling that Foster pulled him back and slammed him just to get him injured??

My observations. Joe's ballhogging is dooming us. Yes, he is putting up numbers but Joe is not that 1 on 1 player. He gets jumpshots for himself and nothing for anyone else. Teague runs the pick and roll and gets Zaza a layup then Joe jacks up a jumper and a forced runner, David West kicks his legs out and gets a call he has no business getting. Don't like the look of this game. I would be highly surprised if we did not only lose but get blown out in the 2nd half.

Can't see the game but that sounds exactly like the Foster I know.

Dude Don't complain about Joe ball hogging if he's making it, he got us back into this game; and he has to ball hog when al's hurt and Josh is in foul trouble.

Watching the game and the Hawks cannot make a basket. No inside game whatsoever with Horford out. Didnt realize how balanced Indiana is. VladRad jumper is not falling right now and we got Pargo playing One on One against Collison. Jeff Foster hitting 3's to end the quarter. Not looking good right now but i think we got a run in us for the 4th.

Dude you never have to ballhog. He could have got some shots for others. Joe is not the type that can carry a team it showed in the 2nd half. He and Josh ballhogging killed this team

Since when is 12 shots ballhogging,he only took 2 shots in the 2nd half.He needs to get up at least 20 shots in a game like this.

You have to watch the game and have a clue about flow to understand. When we tied that game in the 2nd Joe, took 2 bad shots in a row to give them the lead back. He tried to run the offense too much instead of letting Teague do it and ended up not getting anyone else involved and Josh jumpshot was his right hand man. The problem with this team is the vets don't have a clue. Joe only gets jumpers for himself when he tries to run things and Josh just shoots too many jumpers all together. Nights like this prove that the vets don't have a clue of how to step up. Most will just say oh well we were without Al and T-Mac but Al and T-Mac probably make a 3rd of Lebron and Wade. You have to have guys that are willing to step up when called upon. Our vets have no clue of how to do that.A real manager would look at this as another reason as to why he needs to unload Joe and Josh and maybe even everyone that has longterm contracts. This team just does not work well enough together as a unit

I missed the game.

How did Horford get injured?

Man, now we'll have to hear how Indiana is better.

i knew that Indy was a tough team.

too bad about Horford, but it is the NBA and this stuff will happen once in a while and the Hawks will have to manage without their all star center from time to time.

too bad the Hawks couldn't sneak out a win even without their all star center.

hopefully we can get Horford, Hinrich, and Marvin back soon.

Hibbert blocked Horford and Horford got the ball again gathered himself and went up. Hibbert swiped Horford missed and hit Horf across the chest. Kept his weight on Horf and sort of slammed him.

...NBA youtube posted it as this "The Pacers Dominate the Paint"

Horford got blocked twice by Hibbert, both blocks look clean, but on the second block, Roy might have gotten Horford on the forearm on the second block, but i'm not sure.

Horford hit the floor, so i'm not sure if Al hurt his shoulder from the block or hitting the floor.
