Incredible shooting through 3, brutal 4th, but you take road wins any way you can get 'em.

Also it's somehow fun to stick it to the Portland Raging Soccer Moms.

The Kings missed as many free throws as Dwight made.

31-34 vs 3-12.

if we assume the guy will be on the court, does ANYONE agree with me that we should get Dwight tha f*** out of here for bynum? I really think that stability in the locker room and EFFORT on the court will give us a better team than with this quitter. I expect to see Dwight "Vince Carter" Howard's ft% to get back or even better once he's traded. btw

Hedo might be my choice this time.

I got my shots in at Dwight's free throw shooting as well (at this point words to not suffice to describe how bad its gotten), but relating it to his trade request seems like a bit of a stretch imo. Remember that many of us always thought that Dwight needed to think LESS and relax more during free throws. So I don't see him missing because he "doesn't care", he's missing because he sucks.

Granted, I'm starting to get pretty frustrated at his offensive game so far this season. Defensively and in the rebounding department he's where he should be, but he's only had a couple offensive games up to his standard imo. Now that, I think, could be related to the entire situation. The free throws though? Nah, not really.

let's just see how things are by the deadline... what RDV, Otis, and Martins want to do by then... play it out

Dwight "seems off" this season at times... but it's all speculation still

Seriously....you can't keep playing like crap in games while your teammates bail you out, and at least not come out and call yourself out for it. Be a man. Maybe Lebron showed Dwight how to shoot FTs this summer while they were discussing Dwight going to Miami (Lebron is 3-7 FT tonight) ;)

Let's not understate Dwight's impact defensively. Losing him is going to hurt no matter who we get back.
11/18/2017 - I have officially disowned Nikola Vucevic and branded him a loser.

- Skal Labissiere was my guy in 2016 pre-trade. Whoops, but I still believe.
- Malik Monk was my guy in 2017. Whoops(?)
- Mo Bamba was my guy in 2018. TBD.

+1 very true

unfortunately this is just a tough/distracting situation for everyone involved until it gets resolved... let's wait and see what happens

You're right raj, and I don't mean to dwell on it but I really am just disgusted by Howard at this point. Ppl point out his 20/20 efforts against umm the NETS and CATS but wow how disappointing to follow and support someone from draft day to have them sh** on you. Dwight's pouting has just gotten out of hand IMO as well as his ongoing D-measuring contest with otis.

I know Dwight sucked on the free throw line but he sucked all year....i'm not getting the "playing like crap" stuff people are saying here i took his body language out there as frustration...it seems every free throw he missed he got more frustrated

I honestly do believe it has to do with the whole trade situation. He is now 40-94 from the line ~42.5%. I don't feel like doing the actual statistical significance test, but I can say with almost some certainty that there is definitely a statistically significant affect on his FTs. Maybe it has to do with his new FT coach, but people were saying in training camp and such that he was making a ton of them. As I said before, the FT line is the ONE time during a game where it's just Dwight and his thoughts, not caught up in the pace of the game. If you don't think he is at least thinking a little about it, you're crazy. And we all know he is kind of a mental midget.

Oh trust me... I understand how you feel lol ... I have flashbacks of T-Mac's last season with us while watching Dwight (T-Mac's effort level being low)... it's just a messed up situation for everybody involved... and don't worry about dwelling/harping on it or not... no one is going judge you or hate you... we're all in the same boat.

From speculation thread:
DJRajX wrote:Sigh^^^ this whole situation just sucks... I want Dwight to stay, but if his heart isn't in Orlando then he shouldn't be here, it's his life and decision, whatever... there are times I don't want Bynum because of his injury-prone nature and attitude, but at the same time there are times I do want him here because he is a legit dominating Center in the league when healthy.... and he's the only "equal" talent we can get back for Dwight... one minute I'll have pride and say "let Dwight walk... F LA!", and then the next minute I'm thinking we should get back the best talent available for Dwight, and then the next minute I think Dwight really wants to stay here. Everything is just messed up. I hate it.

I'm starting to believe the notions that "it's not about winning for Dwight" but more-so about Dwight wanting to expand his "brand", his "name", and his "endorsements" in a bigger market... but I'm still a firm believer that he cares about this city and winning as well... anyway, in the end this whole situation just sucks... I hate it. It's worse than the T-Mac, Shaq, & Penny situations imo.

Just let this process play out until the deadline and see what happens... it's depressing to think about tbh.

I'll always be a Magic fan, that's one thing for certain. Life will go on with or without Dwight

I feel like the majority of us have said some "off-the-wall" comments and opinions about Dwight and the Magic management... most of them are reactionary or coming from anger/sadness/frustration... I feel like us Magic fans should just stick together through this whole BS situation imo... we're all going to be Magic fans, with or without Dwight.

... sorry for the rant.

absolutely which is why I hope otis finds a way to bring in one or two defensive-minded players probably wings to alleviate some of that burden. My biggest point is that THIS Dwight Howard isn't helping us. even if we lost more games it would be comforting to know that the team busted their tails. Having to question our BEST player's effort is not only a strange feeling, but equally disgusting.
