Next 5 Games [Games 11-15]

Post#1 » by Tha Juice » Thu Jan 12, 2012 1:02 am

1/13 @ Hornets
1/14 @ Hawks
1/16 vs. Kings
1/18 vs. Pistons
1/20 @ Clippers [ESPN]

It would be great to go 4-1 but I think 3-2 is more likely. Losses @ATL and @LAC.

BTW 4 of the next 6 games are not on local TV.

2-3 the next 5 games will get us to 5-10 ... not so shabby considering no Beas, no real SG, and 2 rookies playing lots of minutes.

I don't think there is any doubt we will be active at trade deadline.

I am expecting 3-2. Would settle for 2-3. Would be dissapointed with 1-4.

Hawks and Clippers should be losses, but I think we should win the other 3. With that said, though, we should have beat the Cavs, Bucks, Raptors, and Grizzlies, too. :dontknow:

You can't expect any wins with the way our team is so bi-polar.

Hopefully we win against New Orleans and Detroit, though.

I want the Cilppers game on friday.

Man, we all sucked on the last five games. Nobody saw us going 1-4. I'll go out on a limb and say at least one of those losses was due to JJ and Beas being out. Atlanta has been a disapointment so far. Hopefully we can catch them on a bad day and make up for the loss against Cleveland.

I'd say the opposite. They're 6-3 with wins over the Bulls and the Heat. 2 of their 3 losses have also come from the Bulls and the Heat.

Hornets, Kings and Pistons should be wins, though like some have said who knows with this team.

Atlanta and LA will be losses but hopefully they can keep it competitive.

5 winnable games. We need to come out of them at least 3-2 if we want to have a chance at a decent record.

Those 2 home games are must win and hopefully they can steal 1 on the road, best chance at NOH after getting some days off. 2-3 is a must and 3-2 would be a pleasant surprise.

The Hawks will be playing without Horford (arguably their best player).

Hawks center Al Horford expected to be out 3-4 months with torn left pectoral muscle, source tells Yahoo! Sports.

Twolves_PR Timberwolves PR
#Twolves Michael Beasley (right mid-foot sprain) and JJ Barea (left ankle sprain) not traveling w/ the team on the trip.

I just saw this and was getting worried. LA game is the 20th. That would've been a brutal back-to-back.

I'm hoping for a confidence boosting 3 game win streak.

For some reason I have this gut feeling that the Pistons are going to torch us.

Size-wise, we match up with the Clippers fairly well...tiny back courts with decent front courts. The issue is we are seriously out manned in the talent dept. I mean who else but Tolly can guard Griffin?
