5 games for Marchand seems reasonable

I don't mind the suspension but Vigneault is an idiot who sounds a bit jealous.

Vigneault is one of the bigger blithering idiots in the league.

I dont find him to be a good coach, but I do think he does a good job at taking the heat off of his players.

How the hell does Detroit loose to The stinking Islanders 5-1? If this doesn't prove to everybody that Ty Conklin sucks I don't know what will? The guy is horrible and shouldn't be a NHL backup and 2-8 record with a 3.23 GAA and 88.8 save percentage is horrible no matter how you look at it. For my money there should be a better backup somewhere.

Just curious who do you guys is the first realistic big name player to get moved first before the deadline? I have a feeling that it might be somebody off the radar or one The Bluejackets big names Carter/Nash/RJ Umberger

I think it'll probably be a Blue Jacket, but Mike Cammalleri could be on the move as well.

^^ I would love to sweep in to Columbus and take one of their big names off their hands. Kenny Holland has said he would be willing to move our first rounder and more to pick up people at the deadline and we have some very good farm players in the system, not to mention the cap space to give them big extensions if needed.

I really hope Detroit is making the calls. I would loooove to have Nash.

Nash would be a huge pickup for the Wings. I'm guessing Pulkkinen, Smith, a 1st and some other player or prospect would get it done.

Nash would be an incredible bridge from the Datsyuk/Zetterberg area to the current AHL/Europe crop.

He would be perfect. A Nash-Datsyuk-Zetterberg line? woooow

That was about what I was thinking value wise as well. I would think they would want one of Tatar or Nyquist. Either way, if we can get Nash without giving away the entire farm system, ya gotta

If were Columbus I would ask for Smith, Pulkkinen, Sheahan and a 1st. I like Tatar and Nyquist and I guess the Jackets might want one or both of them, but I just like Pulkkinen so much more and I really think he's the best prospect you guys have.

Reports on TSN have Cammaleri being traded to Calgary, no idea for who yet but he was pulled during the 2nd period tonight against Boston and Calgary is playing right now.

We'll have to agree to disagree, as I think Tatar and Nyquist are both definitely better. But I would do your trade in a heartbeat and Columbus gets loads of young talent...lets hope it happens!

If that's all they want done no trade backs! Rick Nash with Zetterberg and Datsyuk up front would be crazy good.

Then you still have a very good role players in Franzen/Hudler/Fillpula/Bertuzzi/Cleary/Helm/Justin Abdelkader to fill in the rest of the lines.

I think that they would want Gustav Nyquist who looks like a very good defensive wing with some upside or Tomas Tatar, Smith and some pick(s). Nash is 27 right now and still has 8-10+ years left in him and if you can get him without moving all your prospects you do it.

Nice call on the Cammalleri trade Nolan guess The Habs really wanted him out of there and The Flames are trying to make Iginlia happy before he wants out

Hurricanes get some good news. Jeff Skinner has been out 15 games with a concussion, but likely return to the ice on Saturady 1/14. Kid has been missed while out.
