Pacers big plan comes into play

Post#1 » by jowglenn » Fri Jan 13, 2012 7:22 pm

Drunk on my phone, which is where the best trades start.

Indiana has two midhigh paid midlate career semiallstars in west and granger.

One legit 25 year old center who has steadily been the pacers best player.

One specimentionable kid tje size of durant shooting out of his skull right now. 55 % from 3 in 9 games. People gonna be eatin crow soon. 21 years old.

A slew of cheap decent guys like hans (balling right now), hill, collison (the modern travis best), stephenson, amundsen, jones, pendergraph.

Good old jeff foster.

No picks owed.

Enough bs, heres the plan:

IND/SAC

Granger for tyreke/garcia/whiteside

Sac gets a gd professional in town for once. And opens up jimmer and thornton.

Pacers get a young potential killer. Risk move.

IND/ORL

West/jones/price for anderson/redick

Orl sees dwight maybe staying, brings in a legit 4.

Pacers get young guys for an older rental.

IND/anyone

Foster to a team willimg to offer decent cheap young diamond in the rough for a playoff run.vet

Pacers lineup

Collison/hill
Evans/redick/stephenson
George/garcia
Hansbrough/anderson
Hibbert/amundsen

And a suddenly decent pick in a loaded draft.

Boom baby!

Classic example of don't drink and trade... I'm still trying to figure out where your acquiring the "decent pick" in all of this.

The decent pick is our own. Im suggesting we go young and tank. The exact opposite of what everyone expects. Its genius.

That lineup is still making the playoffs in the East, not going to be a great pick.

Last time i checked the Pacers are 7-3. They're not getting a decent pick.

You migjt think so, but the sudden chamges and lack of vet leadership plus evans craziness and georges youth will make us slide vastly. But next year we are better and like 8 deep of guys 26 and under, including like the 12th pick plus a pick we buy.

I like this tank plan! Can you add Cousins too - he seems crazy!

Once you get a horrible pick, bring in a coach that is good at handling crazy.

Our only questionable guy would be evans. He would have less pressure with the pacers rotation. Grow right.

Tyreke with the rest of our young players will make the playoffs, easily. No high pick in that scenario.

In other words, be Sacto East! Wow, how's it working out for them? :P

Seriously, we've been there done that on the whole crazy players business. We'll build the team nice and slow this time around, thank you.
