I-AA title game today, North Dakota State beat Sam Houston State despite not getting a 1st down in the entire second half. Terribly sloppy game, SHSU had only 4 plays that gained more than 10 yards and they averaged over 23 per game.

If you love defense and physicality.. this might be the best college football game you'll ever see. In terms of generally a great game, i can see this game being just as good as Texas/SC in 06.

I feel like LSU's success (particularly on defense) is predicated on big plays. They give up more yards than Alabama, who seems to be slightly more stout. 16-10 Alabama.

LSUs offensive system of spread vs. the pro-style we run on the west coast. our pro-style would run that defense ragged, because no one . . . AND THE SHOW MEANS NO ONE! runs that style better than USC. everyone is running the spread or a version of the spread. alabama can defend that. but with those giant sized linebackers built to stop the SEC run? we will send our blazing receivers down the field, to run off the safeties and dbs, and run a "reggie bush" like wheel route one on one with those linebackers and bye bye, touchdown. sit the safety down to stop our backs? our all american receivers will run right by those dbs. simple. take out LBs and place more safeties or DBs for a nickel look? now our all american offensive line smashes the front.
