Great job Cashman, great job u ****ing bum

Post#1 » by NY2k1 » Sat Jan 14, 2012 3:10 am

Traded away a future Miguel Cabrera type bat in exchange for a pitcher whom we had a lot of down in the minors (good ones too) but lacked big time hitting prospects.

Pineda better turn out to be a top 5 MLB pitcher and/or a Pedro ace to have warranted this trade.

The only way this can turn around for the better is if they sign Fielder now.

Miggy plays 1b and could play OF if needed. Montero doesn't. Yankees have dinosaurs who are going to have to take their turn playing DH. Tell me something, what position is Arod going to play in 2014? You know damn well it's going to be DH. No other team is going to take an old Arod making 30 million off of our hands. What position was Montero going to play come 2014?

Honestly, I would not be surprised if ARod is the full time DH by 2013. If I were the Yanks I'd be projecting as far as where my next 3B will come from.

Arod could come back better than ever, he's still probably going to be a DH as soon as next year. We are stuck with the man for a long time, we want to preserve his bat as long as possible.
