silas will be gone at the end of this season i think. he was never meant to be a long term solution. the real question is whether or not his son gets a shot to replace him or if MJ decides for a total cleanout.

It wont matter who coaches this team this season or next, they wont be able to do anything with this roster. The main thing is that we have a coach that can guide the young guys and not lose them so that by year three they are ready to roll.

Well-versed. Hopefully a great veteran (or upstart) coach is available and willing to take on that task when Year 3 come.

diaw and dj are the leaders of this team with mags out. and we all know that dj and diaw are way way too passive to really lead a team. its one of the major faults of both players. they just dont have the personality to lead.

this problem wont get solved this year.

Good attendance for such an underwhelming and lackluster match up - 18,000

Seriously, Silas needs to wake the F up. A White and Diaw frontcourt is killing us defensively and they're pretty garbage right now offensively. I don't want to see White and Diaw on the court together ever again. Go with Mullens - Diaw, Mullens - Smack, White - Mullens, Diaw - Smack.

You know your defense stinks when you have to play zone against the Pistons and again Silas went with Diaw and White, it didn't work last time why would it work now?

Can't believe we got blown the F out in our own building against the Pistons. Monroe looked like an All Star tonight.

At least Kemba played a good game

I can't wait to trade Diaw

This is UGLY. I love Silas as a coach but this current team is just not responding. In the past we would play scrappy defense and really play our hearts out. You can't say that about this team. Hopefully MJ talking to them after the game will have an impact.

Some of Silas' rotations I do agree are questionable. Like Marvel said, with the bigs we DO have there is no reason to go long stretches with Diaw and White. We have the ability to have at least one shot blocker/big body out there with Biz, Mullens, Diop, and even Thomas. When Diaw is playing poorly (and you can tell early which Diaw you will get) his minutes need to be slashed. I'm back in the boat of "I can't wait until we trade him". It's ridiculous.

Anyway. Good to see Kemba have a good game as well as Mullens. Love to see Mullens playing as well as he is. IN the future I think that Mullens and Biz compliment eachother pretty well. Mullens brings the size and scoring (mid-range that stretches the D) while Biz brings shot blocking and a defensive mindset. S till remains to be seen if Biz can develop like we hope, but Mullens I think has shown that he is a starting C in this league.

Also like what Higgins has been able to do.

Everyone thought i was just hating when I was ragging on White, I been said his offense doesn't make up for his defense, and thats the reason why we lost against the Heat, which IMO is where everything strated to crumble

Smile everyone, we're now the sole owners of the second worst record in the league. Soon we will be #1. Just be strong fellas, don't cave now! Only 54 games and 166 days left until the draft.

I really don't understand why so many posters are freaking out - like our results weren't expected or something?

We don''t have anyone like that? I would have thought that Kemba would be like that. Even though he might not be showing it right now (still finding his rookie feet) I still would have thought that he would be categorized as a "like that" type of player?

Why is it that Bonnell is such a joke? 48mins of basketball and this is the ONLY observation he could come up with:

It took nine games, but Charlotte Bobcats power forward Boris Diaw finally got to the foul line again. Diaw took two free throws, off a foul by Detroit's Jonas Jerebko, 5

http://www.charlotteobserver.com/2012/0 ... bcats.html

Seriously? That's it? How about the D of Biz? How about Kemba giving us a glimpse into the future and pulling Knights pants down with an amazing iso one on one cross over and drive? How about DJA and Mully getting on the same page and connecting on numerous alley oops? How about Hendo getting visibly frustrated with the officiating lately and it effecting his game? How about Coach Silas sitting on the bench with his head in his hands shaking his head? How about Higgins Jr Logging some nice mins? How about T2 looking so thin he could be mistaken for a crack whore?

ALL he could focus on was Boris and his FT's?

Joke.

Pistons fan here. I come in peace.

How would you guys view a theoretical our unprotected first round pick for Biyombo trade? To me he looks like exactly what our team is missing. My apologies if I'm being a homer on this one - I've just heard this is a good draft, and it's almost certain to be a top 6 pick, so it seemed maybe reasonable?

No problem at all - we welcome posters from all teams here.

I don't mind us losing though. But the type of basketball(if that's what you call it) we're playing right now on both ends is disgusting. I wouldn't mind if we gave up 250ppg and scored 200ppg,that at least would be entertaining to watch, but we're struggling to score 90 while giving up 100+.

Can't wait for Reggie to get back.

I think the basketball will get better. The Heat game was fun to watch, I've seen fun flashes otherwise... and at the risk of Batterying a dead horse, we've been a team with a greater chance of winning in the past that wasn't any more fun to watch...
