MKG is not the best prospect in this draft. He's not even close.

Yes is is. I trust what I say over you. My track record is PROVEN.

He can't break down his man or shoot off the dribble and has difficulty finishing in traffic against size.

He's very good as a rebounder, defender and passer though.

Between Davis and MKG, who has the better chance of being a franchise defining star?

When you need a bucket, who would you want to go to?

When the game is on the line, who's hands would you want the ball in?

I mean. I can't help you all see the obvious. MKG has all the attributes needed to be a star at the next level. I'm a huge Perry guy and even I can admit this guy has IT!!

OK, dude. lol

He's 18, he's not a finished product.

There is nothing wrong with my vision. You're confusing college production with NBA potential. He's good a rebounder, defender and passer, but can't create his own shot or shoot off the dribble. He has difficulty scoring in traffic. I would compare him to Iguodala in the pros. Nice player, but not the best pro prospect in a strong draft.

By the way, you seem to have changed your tune. You were saying PJ3 was the best prospect in the draft a month ago.

MKG isn't even a go-to player to break down his man at the end of the shotclock at the college level. He scores most of his points on fastbreaks, putbacks, and alley-oops.

Can anyone tell me what kind of offensive game they see Davis developing? He seems to score on alley oops and running the floor, primarily.

I know he was a 6'3 guard with an offer from Cleveland State before his growth spurt, and that's a consistent NIT level school, so he must have some handle and shooting ability, but I haven't seen it. I've only seen him play a couple of times, apart from highlights, so I'm not claiming he can't. He just looks kind of awkward when he puts it on the floor.

If he doesn't develop a game, he's Josh Smith or good Kirilenko, right? That's a good, low level all star, but apart from Rodman and maybe Artest has there been a non-center who dominated without scoring enough to be worth the #1 draft pick? I'm not counting Kidd either, for obvious reasons.

Ive been watching MKG for a little over 2 years now. I dont think he'll ever have the offensive repertoire of a clear number one guy, yet. He just impacts the game in so many ways that even if the guy taking the last shot misses, MKG is the type of guy that will will his way to that offensive rebound and put it back.

I agree that he does have a track record (of being extremely obnoxious and condescending to other posters).

MKG has been at the top of my Big Board for two weeks. I love Perry's game and potential but MKG is the real deal. He's going to be a great pro. Certainly hetter than Iguodala. LMAO

Finally, a chance to watch FSU's Ian Miller.

Harrison Barnes obviously for UNC is the guy to watch.

What about his game gives him more pro potential than Iguodala?

Iguodala exhibited the same level of rebounding, passing and defensive ability in college. They also have similar size. I think Iguodala is more explosive athletically, but let's say for the sake of argument that they are similar in that regard. They're similar from a shooting perspective at the college level. I think Iguodala is a better ballhandler.

MKG reminds me of a more athletic, unpolished Shane Battier

I really want to check out Harrison's game today. I haven't paid enough attention to him.

You obviously are underrating MKG because the attribute you say he lacks is exactly why he's a better prospect than Iggy. MKG in facg can break his man down and do it consistently. Playing against zones and college defenses that allow the defense to sit in the paint don't really give MKG the chance to showcase his dribble-drive game. MKG is way more of a shotmaker and creator than Iggy.

Not going to really argue this. Even though MKG has shown this ability, you still act naive for some reason. I do know, though, Kidd-Gilchrist projects as the best prospect in the draft. The fact you Raptor fans would want anyone else other than this guy is baffling, to say the least. He fits a glaring hope for you all and he's a winner.
