Come on, that's laughable, you know that. I mean, really, you think this trade could even go through? Impossible.

....the Nets only have one second rounder left for the next five years, they obviously can't risk losing it.

haha yea just throwing it out there.

Teague I think has 2 years remaining on his contract. Isn't ATL looking to cut some salary ?

Petro + 2nd + some cash maybe ?

^That would be nice, that trade screams draft picks going to Atlanta though. Maybe a 2nd rounder or at worst, Houston's pick. His 8 mil expiring would be nice though.

I'm going to advocate for Petro, so all the Hawks fans that may read this know what they're getting:

-good passer with uncanny court vision and handles for his size
-smart, physical defender...very good at playing defense without fouling
-good hands
-ELITE midrange jumper
-excellent footwork and offensive skills in the post...with 30+ mpg, he would get you 15+ ppg easily
-high BBIQ

Clearly, Hawks fans, he's an extremely gifted and valuable player, I would have preferred to use him to land Howard, but since it doesn't look like he'll be traded, I could be persuaded to go for a Petro for Josh Smith trade, but draft picks would have to come our way of course...

Come on now big men are more valuable. You don't trade a quality big man for a scrub like Teague.

You don't even need to write all that, just link them to Petro's site.

WHEN YOU DESCRIBE the prototypical NBA center, he is not complete without superlative size, strength and athleticism. He’ll fight for the tough rebounds in the trenches, but is just as quick to burn you with a shot from 15 feet.

Johan Petro possesses all of these skills and more, and bears all the promise of fulfilling his vast potential.
