They just continute to mess up that lotto pick.

Josh jumpshot can't handle Mr. Love, Teague usually steps up to the challenge if you haven't noticed.

My concern during the game was: where is Johnson to defend Love?
Then he came a bit late but started to shut down Love and that triggered all the energy that the team needed.
You got to love that guy. ..and even wonder if he won't be starting at some point!

Dude stop being so negative and enjoy the win, there's no way we're gonna miss the playoffs in the East where 2 below .500 gets you the 8 seed; we're gonna be set for the playoffs if Al comes back for the 1st round which he said he would barring any setbacks.

Jeff Teague and Ivan Johnson both had a double-double.

Joe Johnson had a good game as well.

Great game from our bench (and Teague). Joe and Smith tried to kill ball movement but the bench ignited the fire.

Joe needs to learn he's a rhythm shooter, not a one-on-one hero.
Smith needs to pull the ball down and drive when the jumper's not falling.

Or they can just watch film of how the bench plays without them.

Ivan Johnson, Ivan Johnson, Ivan Johnson. Zaza's heart and strength but with length and hops.

How is that negative? I enjoyed the game.

I'm saying your being negative about the team, you can't rule them out of a playoff chase just because Al went down, especially the way the bench performed tonight.

Start a bid for Ivan to at least make it to the Soph/Rookie game. He'll be an even older rookie than Gary Neal was last year.

I thought we were going to lose this one for sure. Teague had a decent game, the 6 TOs are part of him learning the game. Now, I find it very disturbing when I read on ajc that according to coach Drew the Hawks are not looking to make changes to the roster (add a big man). I mean, guys like Pekovic and Mullen look like starts out there against Zaza and we are just going to sit down and pray that somehow Zaza will get 100000000000000000 times better or what ?!?!?!?
GO HAWKS.

There is nothing negative about getting a lottery pick for a team that is not going anywhere worth speaking of. When we play a actual playoff team without Al you will see what is in store for this team without Al. I am not being negative just realistic. We are not a team that can beat playoff caliber teams without Al. If you can't beat them what's the point of just making it there? I am pretty sure by the trade deadline it will be obvious that we have done ourselves a big disservice by being a late lottery team instead of a early one.

Great victory against a team on the rise.

Regarding the decision of not signing another man, I am almost sure the decision comes from the ownership, who do not want to spent more money. If the decision has been taken by the FO and LD, then I do not understan it.
We cannot play 3-4 months like this. We just have Zaza, who is limited even as a replacement center, and then we have to play with a bunch of forwards inside to confront big Front Courts like this one of Randolph, Love, Milicic (they also have Pekovic). I. Johnson, JSmoove, Zaza and Marvin cannot play like this for the rest of the season.

In the meantime, we have Sloan and Stackhouse, who never play and have no guaranted contracts. I do not get it now and I did not get it at the beginning of the season. Why not using at least one of those roster spots for a big man? Al has no posible substitute in our style (a center who can start the fast break), but we need someone to defend bigger FCs. Or, at least, give Collins some PT.
